You don’t realize how good home is sometimes until you go places that are substandard! Unfortunately, being on an island costs more I suspect hence the extra cost of shavings! Hard to compare costs vs US, but the ammonia smell and the size of the stable is unacceptable! 🐴⭐️⭐️❤️❤️

That doesn't look like a nice place at all - all concrete and very small stalls. Unhygienic, too, if there is not enough shavings provided and it's not changed.
It’s such a shame that the stables didn’t match the indoor arena and the outside riding areas ☹️ that’s ridiculous and so cheap 😩 to not provide enough bedding!
Looks like a good size place but the stables looked small and looks like money is skimped in areas so spoils the overall rating of the business. Pity it takes away some of the pleasure of holidaying. 🐴🐴🐴
Bella is like me Ii wo ld always rather be in my own bed! If we have to sleep in a hotel etc I worry about bed bugs, lice and cockroaches! My husband thinks I am neurotic but I call it being careful. I travel with my own travel pillow because I can't stand thinking of people coughing and sneezing into the bed pillows provided. I wonder how often they are replaced? Are the horse stalls where you are staying sterilized after every use? When a person gets a new horse and they have other horses they quarantine the new one to make sure they don't spread anything to the other horses. Before I end this I am not a germaphobe and my own house isn't sterilized from one end to the other. I can tolerate my own dirt just not other peoples!!! I also travel with sterile wipes and spray to wipe the phone, doorknobs and toilet area. Call me nuts!

Apollo "groomed" half of it into a ragged or missing mess so Tara roached/hogged the whole thing. It will grow back, maybe even thicker...

That’s cheap compared to USA in NC it’s 800 dollars per month and up
that's around £644 but I bet you get more than one bale of shavings/straw/miscanthus a week. Bella get a bag of miscanthus a day at home.
