So glad to see the railway system back online. It is by far the cheapest mode of travel that our low income earners rely on. Mostly street vendors, cleaners, security guards and general workers have relied on it for years. Four systems relaunched around the country has given hope to more to come
Yet they are the ones that regularly destroy it. Why do they get rewarded by getting new trains first? Go back in history to see who broke our perfectly functioning locally built railways. Such anarchist, destructive behaviour doesn't suit a developed, civilised nation. Where is our national pride, our patriotism?
Exactly! Our people litter so much, don't know what's wrong with them. I hate littering with all my heart. It starts with the mindsets and attitudes of people though, they've got this sick attitude of, "I'm creating employment for someone, they'll pick up after me". A disgrace really. If you wouldn't do it in your own house, why do it in your environment/surroundings?
I really appreciate your videos and comments about South Africa you always show all the positive side of the country. You are very special person. Most people always show the negative. Well done and keep up with the up with the good job
So you only want to see the positive ??......how do you do that when the negative far outweighs the positive in SA,....????....no use playing ostrich politics ....by putting your head in a hole and hope the problems will disappear...!.

Nice one. I lived in Soweto before moving to the north and used to catch a train from Inhlazane Station to Park Station. Hope security has been improved inside trains.
I traveled by train in Melbourne Australia whilst on holiday. Purchase a card that could be use multiple times. I am so proud of how our new trains they look so good. Very neat and seems safe.
All at the tax payers expense, not one train line going into white suburbs? Amazing isn't it, the racism and cognitive dissonance that's currently being shoveled down tax payers throats
I love it. The MetroRail line between Pretoria and Johannesburg via Germiston is also now running a limited service. For now you need to change trains at Germiston and Kempton Park to complete that journey unfortunately, and cancellations and issues with the network are still common on that section. But things are definitely changine - and hopefully this momentum carries on. They are also still working on increasing the speed and frequency of those Naledi line trains - by bringing some of those additional tracks you saw back into service again. The Gauteng MetroRail network has many challenges (as it was quite old and neglected even before the vandalism happened) but it's been exciting to see the steady progress that has been made to restoring service bit by bit.
Wonderful content showing casing trains, Davido. As long as security and laws inside that beautiful train are enforced and adhered to, we are all going to fill up the trains once more. 🎉🎉🎉❤
Why need security if people know how to conduct themselves in an educated way? I don't need police to make me honest. I am raised well, no need to be nannied. Our people should grow up and do the adult thing.
This is great but the infrastructure is so badly vandalized that it is going to cost billions to get the whole country going again. I have seen kms and kms of cable stolen on KZN South Coast. How that can happen without any arrests beats me. The people of South Africa definitely deserve something bet then the taxis.
