    BUDDYMOON DAY 248/1000 (VLOG 66)
We slept in economy class on one of the very few sleeper trains in South Africa, The Santos Express in Mosselbay. Most sleeper trains come at a very high price, mainly because they take you from one destination to another.
The Santos Express train however does not move and is treated as a hotel, therefore, the opportunity to sleep in a train comes at an affordable price ($24 for 2 people) and this is why we just had to book a stay to see what it's like to sleep on a train!

In South Africa we do say thank you on the roads when another driver goes out of his way to do something good .. just a gesture of appreciation

That’s a nice gesture - the hazard lights, flash of lights - never seen that anywhere else…

I used to travel with train from Johannesburg to Capetown back in the early 2000s and I must say it's amazing to travel in second class and they were shared among 4 people... Two at top and 2 down

Hello, I love your beautiful home country South Africa and I like your travelling by your own car. South African sleeper train has the most beautiful beds to sleep comparing with Indian and Malaysian sleeper train beds

In America if drivers are being courteous they stick their hand up/wave if they merge in front of another car. Also if it's another car's turn to go but they allow you to go instead. But on the most part you have crazy drivers lol it's cute you two messing around in the cabin and giggling like teens :-)))))

Maybe if someday y'all would come visit California, we have many beaches as there are in South Africa. Your country drives left, we do right. Los Angeles does have a Union Station. America has Amtrak® compared to PRASA.

The guys in vintage cars... that was so cool, just going for a drive in your vintage car, top down on a sunny day. I love the train, I'd 100% try it.
In Kenya drivers usually do hand signals or a quick honk.
I love the topography of the route you've taken, some areas are green and lush, others dry grass and the ocean never too far away.

Hi guys. We booked coach no. 6, that has great sea views, during the summer holidays. Loved it so much....all our lights actually worked 😂
Knowing that December month is hot I took my electric fan that I modified to a 2-prong plug which made the stay much more bareable 👌🏻
    Enjoy your travels 👍🏻

Yes people do use their hazard lights to say thanks although it's actually illegal but it's such a common thing to do for many years that even the police and traffic police officers don't really care.
