BUDDYMOON DAY 248/1000 (VLOG 66)
We slept in economy class on one of the very few sleeper trains in South Africa, The Santos Express in Mosselbay. Most sleeper trains come at a very high price, mainly because they take you from one destination to another.
The Santos Express train however does not move and is treated as a hotel, therefore, the opportunity to sleep in a train comes at an affordable price ($24 for 2 people) and this is why we just had to book a stay to see what it's like to sleep on a train!

THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!
Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and join us on our adventures:)
In South Africa we do say thank you on the roads when another driver goes out of his way to do something good .. just a gesture of appreciation
That’s a nice gesture - the hazard lights, flash of lights - never seen that anywhere else…
South Africa being unique in their own way😁
This is my dream. I want to travel from western cape all the way to Mozambique lol.
We grew up riding the sleep train untill the ANC stuffed this up as well. Would of loved to take my family on a trip like we use to DBN to JHP or CPT sadly tks to the ANC ee can't do so.
I used to travel with train from Johannesburg to Capetown back in the early 2000s and I must say it's amazing to travel in second class and they were shared among 4 people... Two at top and 2 down
Was this the Bkue train that travelled in?
I love your videos. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyed that fun/educational tour of the Garden Route with you two. I'm from that area, will sure love to try that stationery sleep train out some time some time. 🙂
A successful Otter Trail and now doing the Garden Route. Its one of the most well known popular places. A must on the list .A beautiful scenic drive . A surfers paradise on the way also. Enjoy your train ride and your journey.
Interesting history! Keep sharing guys! Thanks 😁
What a pleasure to see my backyard featuring in one of your awesome videos. Nice one guys, and I'm EXTRA glad to see the drone being put to such good use 👌I always think the "Map of Africa" could also be a sleeping crocodile 🐊
Hey Kangela, it was so great to meet you😊So grateful for the drone on this trip😊absoulty loved our time on in Mossel Bay 😊
Hello, I love your beautiful home country South Africa and I like your travelling by your own car. South African sleeper train has the most beautiful beds to sleep comparing with Indian and Malaysian sleeper train beds
You guys are fun, a vibe thank you. Will definitely go there for me befday.
Caught these trains all the time until about 30 years ago
That must have been so cool 😊
We have done eleven long distance return journeys on ShosholozaMeyl and PremierClasse since 2016. Safe, clean, pleasant and wasn't robbed like on the TransNatal in 1982.
I’m so happy I found your channel today 😊
You guys are so wholesome :) enjoy traveling with you
Thank you so much Lennon😁that means so much to us😁🙏
I am still waiting for train ride 😄
Beautiful trip
Now I just need to find someone to go with
In America if drivers are being courteous they stick their hand up/wave if they merge in front of another car. Also if it's another car's turn to go but they allow you to go instead. But on the most part you have crazy drivers lol it's cute you two messing around in the cabin and giggling like teens :-)))))
So interesting how each country has different road etiquette 😊glad you enjoyed the videos ❤️
Little town called George HAHAHA!! C'mon!
Mzantsi 🇿🇦 for sure 🙏🏾
Sad when the only sleeper train you can sleep in is one set in concrete.
Not true. Opinion is cranial flatulence.
Hier in Namibia doen ons almal dit. Gee plek vir ander dan wys hul dankie met hazerd.
FANTASTIC Vlog, . Showing the Beauty of our Country by our OWN PEOPLE. .👍🏽👍🏽👌🏿👌🏿
Awh thank you so much! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed this video❤️really means so much❤️
And yes we have a gorgeous country 😍🇿🇦
When an old coupling were travelling with their car, the old lady reckoned to her husband " Hey but you know a lot of people" when she noticed the flashing indicators " he reckoned " jy ken nog niks "
Awesome beautiful South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂
Thanks Shahida😁
Awesome, interesting and beautiful ❤❤❤
another nice vlog
This is lovely 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Maybe if someday y'all would come visit California, we have many beaches as there are in South Africa. Your country drives left, we do right. Los Angeles does have a Union Station. America has Amtrak® compared to PRASA.
The guys in vintage cars... that was so cool, just going for a drive in your vintage car, top down on a sunny day. I love the train, I'd 100% try it.
In Kenya drivers usually do hand signals or a quick honk.
I love the topography of the route you've taken, some areas are green and lush, others dry grass and the ocean never too far away.
The Garden Route is absolutely Gorgeous, spoiled for all types of views along the way🙂
Garden rowt.,gods country, second best place on earth. Guinness
attack the delicious plate in this video
Ja, pulling over onto the yellow line and the whole flash your hazard thing doesn’t happen in Oz. Lives there for 16 years and I really missed it on road trips
I think it should become a world wide standard😜
Wow
Do you guys know how much the trsin between joburg and Cape Town would be please
What an interesting video, it's a shame that weather and circumstances seemed to be against you, at least you can say you had an adventure instead.
Just have to go with the flow and enjoy what is given to you😁
In a Yaris, you guys are brave
Hi there it is known as the Transvaal wave

Sotherton Africa has so much beauty 😍
Bentar lagi juga back ke Asia 😆
You get KILLED for flashing someone here in the States! 😅😅

A tree as a post office? Interesting
Crazy right😜 the world is sooo different now
❤️❤️
That was not a pelvis. It is the head of a baleen whale.
You two are so cute! Hahaha
Hahahaha thank you Lance😜
You are like two naughty kids 😂 and your laughter in the dark had me chuckling along with you.
I'm South African but when I visited New Zealand I think they flashed their headlights to thank a courteous driver.
Do you notice that your views dropped right after you left Indonesia?
Yes, it happens everytime we leave an Asian country
Hi guys. We booked coach no. 6, that has great sea views, during the summer holidays. Loved it so much....all our lights actually worked 😂
Knowing that December month is hot I took my electric fan that I modified to a 2-prong plug which made the stay much more bareable 👌🏻
Enjoy your travels 👍🏻
Greetings from Cape Town ❤
😂👍

So not a proper sleeper train.
Yes people do use their hazard lights to say thanks although it's actually illegal but it's such a common thing to do for many years that even the police and traffic police officers don't really care.
