- On this episode of Tera Gully Mein, we met Kapil Sharma and had a trip down memory lane in Amritsar. From binging on buttery Amritsari Kulchas at Kartar's Pehalwan Kulcha to devouring some divine Amritsari Kulfa ar A - One Kulfa, Kamiya and Kapil experienced a food coma at Amritsar.
Kapil also showed us around his Amritsar home and the theatre Punjab Naatshala where he previously worked at. He spoke to us about his childhood, his struggling journey, his battle with depression, his marriage life, the upcoming film Zwigato and much more.

Pure desi style of eating. The middle class charm is there here. It was as if kapil ka curly tales hai. Everbody was enjoying dil se. Also they were having second helping of kulcha chole. First time there is only one dish not a array of dishes no fork spoon pure simple. Mazaa aa gaya❤

Amritsar is Lahore and Faisalabad at the same time. Ditto ditto. Except Hindi written and people with turbans, there isn't much difference at all. Also, as Kapil Sharma said "jitni comedy main karta hun utni mere shehar ka har banda kar leta hai" big relate. Faisalabad is so rich with humor.

i can totally relate to this, as a guy who grew in a boarding school, nothing gave me more joy than visiting all the classic spots of my hometown.
I can see that no matter what Kapil Sir is today, he's still respects and never forgets his old friends. That's why Kapil is special. He's a big man today but there's still some kind of humbleness.

This is my most favourite Curly Tales episode of all time. Kamiya is such a wonderful host. God bless Kapil. He is such a nice person and a wonderful actor/singer/comedian. When he sang the two songs that were picturized on Sanjeev Kumar ji in different movies at the restaurant it felt to me like Sanjeev ji was alive again for several minutes. That is the power of art in India. A wonderful comedian sings nice songs remembering great playback singers and excellent actors who are no more with us. I am so proud I was born in the same land where so many talented people were born - dear India ❤.
