- The Best Defense Foundation exists only to honor those who serve our great country. We look to those who have passed, and those still living, to inspire and educate future generations. Thank you to all #veterans who have served, who currently serve, and are planning to serve. You are what makes this country great!
Over the years we have taken hundreds of #WWII veterans back to their #battlefield, so they can be celebrated and get the closure they deserve.

Veterans day on my birthday is the best present I can ask for. And I'm 20, so thank you for your service
Let us not forget today on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month the Shells stopped falling and the bullets stopped flying. In its wake it left 15 million dead, military and civilian alike. The “War to end all Wars” didn’t end all wars. However those who served in it will be admired for putting their lives on the line for their countries and their loved ones. Their stories of their courage and valor will be remembered regardless of what side they were on they did something we never could and we will never forget them. I give thanks to all those who have served in every conflict and to those who gave their lives may you rest in eternal peace. I hope and pray some day all wars will end and we can walk with our brothers in perfect harmony.
Fighting for biased politicians kind of taints the patriotism a bit. Ask putin and company. Never forget Osama Bin Laden was a CIA asset and trained as such.

My great grandfather died on the beaches of Normandy.
My grandfather survived on gold beach. And fought in the Korean war also. Hoengseoeng, hill 325.
Silver star hill. And samichon valley.
Dutch Bronze cross. Bronze lion recipient. The USA also made him a bronze star recipient. Even though he was dutch.
Baker and milkman from a humble coming who did the impossibe as a soldier.
According to my father and grandmother he returned to be a milkman. And never complained. My uncles took over the bakery. Its been in the family since 1891.
He died to a brain tumor in 1986. I never met him. But i still honor his sacrifice. Ive been in for 7 years myself now.
I cant ever let the moment rest. I held my grandmothers hand on her bed as she was dying. I believe we sat there. Me my father. My mother. My sister. My cousins and nieces. Uncle and aunty. She used to help jews while grandpa was in the field. She fed them. Gave them shelter. Because she thought it was the right thing to do.... i believe we sat there for 16 hours or more while she was on morphine.... the moment before she passed she screamed my grandfathers name.... she let go. I was frozen...

In memory of my great grandparents who all were in the marines, and my grandfather who was in the navy but he is still alive. (If it is just an american holiday im still thanking my great grandfather from the royal air force.
Thanking ALL Veterans, from ALL wars, for risking, and sacrificing your lives, to protect, and keep us, and our country safe from harm. Praying for you, and your families always, and even though we are outnumbered by all this evil, today is another day closer to the day of the LORD. If you truly believe in Almighty God, our Creator, LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, we have no worries, as He tells us in His word about all these perilous times to come in Isaiah to Malachi, Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13, 2 Thessalonians, Revelations, and everything in between. Daniel 7-12 talks about beasts, kings, ten horns, and a he goat, that according to many Bible scholars, represents Alexander the Great, who is also related to ALL our US Presidents (plenty of info online to prove). Praying for God’s mercy on all! Nahum 1:3, “The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked: The LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet.” Psalms 148:8, “Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling His word:” Romans 12:19, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Revelation 14:7, ” Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

I'm offended by this ostentatious bull in thanks for my service. This is a sell job. We haven't protected this country in decades. My squadron did help get back the oil rights we wanted, though. It only cost a few ten thousands lives to do it.

There were provisions for conscientious objectors during the last draft, see a minister or community leader and establish your beliefs BEFORE the draft board comes back with a vengeance. During VietNam, I was like the 3rd enlistee in a company of draftees, most none to eager to, shall we say, engage in the activity. I got to be E-3 second week of basic and joined SLPP. Anyone recognizing S.L.P.P hello, God Bless . Just don't pull the 'Bone spur" ploy, please.
