They can go to hard and super hype songs, but then they go to sad and soft ballad songs. They can do hip hop and show off their raps, but they can also sing rnb and hard ballad with their top class vocals. Sometimes they just sing with guitar and piano, but sometimes they do EDM and use those complex bgm. EXO is the group that always wants to do different things every damn time. When people ask me for a song that shows the side of EXO, I can't even name one. Why? Because EXO did lots of genre and style. They can go to hard and super hype songs, but then they go to sad and soft ballad songs. They can do hip hop and show off their raps, but they can also sing rnb and hard ballad with their top class vocals. Sometimes they just sing with guitar and piano, but sometimes they do EDM and use those complex bgm.
EXO is the group that always wants to do different things every damn time. Stanning them is never boring because they are so versatile and experimental. You can't even expect what will they give next. That's how fun stanning EXO is.

@@Chippin05 I dont mean kpop grouos necessarily. But like cliches are used a lot in media, like movies and books. I do get what you're saying, but I think EXO does pretty well with their story. It is way different from anything else people try and add into kpop. As group that supposidly has a story but doesnt do it very well in my opinion is ATEEZ. I love ATEEZ but I feel their story has no plot and is just there for the trend. But EXO was one of the groups that started the storyline trend, so how could they only do it for a trend they helped start? But of course this is just my opinion. I like the kind of superhero alien clone thing they are doing. It is so random, and has a different vibe from EXO and it is really refreshing to me. I also like how you can enjoy the mvs without ever knowing the story. So if you dont like it, you dont even have to pay attention to it. Sorry for my rant
