UPDATE on My P11 Primera GT - As Seen On

- Following the success of my P11 Nissan Primera GT on Jonny Smith's 'The Late Brake Show' Barn Finds series last week I wante to get out my first update on what is in store for the car, and also to answer a few negative comments on why I left it so long looking sorry for itself.
Through this year I hope to start work on the car, but just need to clear a few other projects, but I will certainly be cracking on with the Primera during the warmer months.
For my US viewers, this is an Infiniti G20.
As someone looking hard at the underside of 40, I've gotta say that it's really nice to see cars of my own childhood getting love.

Looking forward to seeing this Primera resurrection, even though I only had an SLX and then an SRI, they handled spectacularly well, with the stiff suspension of the GT, it will be a brilliant drivers car when it’s done!
I’ve found myself looking for an Estate as a daily 😂
I can't wait to see the next video on this car. I want to see some work being done on it.
It will happen as soon as I’ve got some space and and empty trailer.
Great to hear the plans for the GT! I had a '98 saloon and sold it in 2014 for £400 😢

I have had an P11 for around 6 years now bought it originally silver ended up painting it dark blue, chroming the door handles and putting some BBS's on very fun car to drive

I love the Primera had 2 of them a black P10 M-reg the base 1.6L 4 door saloon with the standard 165 SR 13 wheels and a P11-144 face lift in silver 51-reg 2.0i Sport Plus 5 door Estate nice car both cars were very reliable, before the Primera's I use to have Nissan Sunny's had 3 of them. I was watch this last week on the late brake show. This is a good car it's a keeper
Funnily enough I always wanted a 144 Sport Plus Estate, but they are also very rare these days.
@@NeilsCarsAviationTravelHi Neil, She was a great car, no problems at all always first turn of the key,only failed once needed a new battery that was it, passed every MOT , good on a long run ,eg, Wrexham to Llandudno on the A483 and A55 @ 60-65 mph avr about 40-44 mpg not bad for a 2 litre petrol engine. had her for six and half years I still miss it, have fun with your Primera

I had a sr20 auto slx that needed similar work not so long ago and i am sorry I sold it. They are such a great car!
There’s a 2.0SLX Auto on eBay at the moment for £895 if you wanted another 😀
Nice one, I had a 1991 EGT that I paid £500 for, it was epic! Very ‘chuckable’ in the corners and it went pretty well. I’d definitely have a GT but as I’m finding out there’s not many left!
Yeah they really are hard to find, especially the earlier ones.

Congrats on your first child. Great to see you have had such a great response to the Late Brake Show video. Do you still have any Montegos? We have sold all our Maestro turbos. In fact we don't have any MGs currently. Always dreamed of buying an MG SV - came very close once when I could have bought Gerry Flint's car for £25k. Now prices have more than doubled I wish I had bought one when I had the chance. Good luck with the Nissan. You should promote the BMW X5 more as you might find a buyer through the channel. If your doing anything with the gearbox, take the time to swap out both sets of drivr shafts.
They rot under the balance weight and snap if shocked. It happened to both my old 1.6 and 2.0 P11s and countless others.
I still stalk my old SRi and it was still knocking around but MOT expired last year so I fear the worst 😢

I love my p11 gt to death, I didn’t know you can swap non private reg numbers to other cars I thought it was only private reg, learn something everyday
Yes you can put any plate on retention, but there are some restrictions based on how long the car has been SORN / off the road.
What's the miles and the asking price on the x5 please?
One owner from new, FSH, 114k. Recent Michelin tyres and brakes all round. Just serviced too. £8.5k

Came for the update on the car after seeing it on The Late Break Show! God your video was so boring, we don't want your whole life story just a update on the car! You have got to many excuses to why the car was left to rot, if you love the car like you say you do, then you would not of left it there like you did. Why don't you sell the car to someone who will spend the time & effort to get it back on the road because in your hands it is just another rare car going to be left to rot away!
