People are comparing Haylou Solar LS05 with mi band 5 for some reasons. They keep saying they are same in terms of function, buy LS05 if you like fitness watch more than fitness band. so i bought LS05. but man did i make huge mistake listening to them. Apart from it being a band mi band 5 is superior to LS05 in every aspect; sensor accuracy, fitness app, huge variety of options to choose from.

One important thing nobody seems to mention is the useless step counter (more a "feature" of the Health app). I just got up and had my coffe and I'm already at almost 500 steps. The software combines phone and band steps and then some. It's a known issue, Huawei/Honor don't care. I'm returning the band. Not worth even the 40ish Eur I paid.
I also buyed it yesterday. 🙂🙂this band is Amazing, don't think about Chinese products ban, just buy it because government are not banning the thing such as rapes,which is more important than these Chinese products ban, So at last I just want to say that if government are not talking rapes and crimes seriously then why should we take these bans serious. This is reality. 😠

Thanks for the review. My band's camera shutter does nothing but change the phone's camera zoom settings. Which means that it is interacting with the phone but just not taking pics. Also, whenever I need to sync it to the Mi Fit app, I have to reboot the band each time otherwise it won't connect. I'm facing these issues with my Redmi Note 4.
Your band may be 'pressing' the volume button on your phone to activate the shutter, which takes a photo on most phones. There should be a setting on your phone camera to change what the volume button does.
Because you're not stressed Just don't move and keep the band's backside to touch your skin by making it fit to the wrist so that it can't move freely.

Hi, thanks for such a comprehensive video. I'm struggling to turn off the green flashing light at the back of my band. I want to turn it off completely, unless I voluntarily do a heart rate monitor. But it somehow always automatically flashes in some intervals. I've turned off Heart Rate Monitoring from the Mi Fit App. This is driving me crazy. Any help will be appreciated.
Go to the band settings -> heart rate monitoring -> monitoring method and choose the option which says turn off. Then it won't automatically detect heart rate and only manually it works

Try changing pulse measure from 1 minute to higher. I think green light is because your band is measuring pulse.

There's a setting for this on the phone camera setting.
