God revealed himself to me through a Christian woman who didn't just talk the talk but walked the walk. A woman of integrity who didn't pretend Christianity would take away all my problems. I just knew she had something in her life and it caused me to thirst after the God that she at times spoke about over a period of about 18 months in a way that was not pushed down my throat but like someone offering me a taste of what she had. I thank God for her witness. That was 1988 and Im still a Christian.
Kirk just from your intro I teared up and felt God's truth. Thank you for trusting in Jesus Christ and thank you God for using Kirk to serve and glorify you. God is good!
Very impressed how God could touch and speak to someone like Kirk Cameron, who was once an atheist but was touched by the preaching of the word of God. Glory be to God! Nothing is impossible to Him.

When I first read the bible I new it was the truth and as Time went on I shown as a experiences that what I didn't get at first .I felt God put this information in me before I even realized.I am not perfect at being a Christian .But I strive for betterment.i became a great full believer in Jesus Christ late in life .He took me from selfish drug addict.too someone that dreamed about helping folks like me.Thank you Jesus'

The prayer you spoke in the car was not clumsy. In fact, you opened your heart and spoke your truth.
There is no clumsy or poor prayers. Prayer doesn’t need to be fancy words, but it opens up the heart to God.
Even a simple prayer gets God attention.
There is no " your truth" just "the truth".

Thank you for this. I enjoy that you give books to reference so people can dig deeper into questions to grow their faith. I pray daily that my husband and all 6 of our children will find god, as well as my mother. Have the lord place the right people in their path to show them the blessing it is to know him and walk in faith. It doesn’t take away how hard this world is but it makes it possible to keep going. Too often, we’re trying to convince people to be our friends, convince them to spend time with us. If someone doesn’t see the gift that you are, if they don’t recognize your talents and value your friendship, do yourself a favor and move on. No offense, but they’re not a part of your destiny.

I went to a liturgical church as a kid, and I set myself up as the "good girl". It was a childhood filled with trauma and abuse. When I was 17, a friend from school invited me to youth group. After a few weeks, as we stood by my car, I started crying and I said, "You all pray like someone is listening. No one is listening when I pray." He explained the gospel -- how my sin caused separation but the sacrifice of Christ restored the relationship (that's much condensed for a YT comment 😉), and that night I was saved by grace. It is a continuing journey, and only in the past few years have I begun to understand the depth of that grace. As C.S. Lewis wrote at the end of The Last Battle, we move "farther up and farther in." As we continue to walk with God through this life, we can enjoy more of Him each day, each year, because with an infinite God there is always more: more love, more grace, and more joy! ❤

Get alone by yourself and go humbly before the LORD JESUS and ask for forgiveness. Repent of all your sins. Ask for HIS MERCY. Ask HIM to please come and let you feel HIS Presence. Keep asking for the HOLYSPIRIT to come and speak to you. Keep praying and praying until HE comes. He comes on HIS timing not our timing! Give HIM Praise. Sing to HIM. Continue to Read HIS HOLYWORD. Give HIM the Glory due unto HIS NAME! JESUS IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED! He can restore the backslidden, the broken hearted, the depressed, the doubter, the sadness, the hardened heart, the heavy burdens, etc..........JESUS CAN ALWAYS SET US FREE!

My testimony for the story of Jesus Christ. The story of Jesus destroyed my world. I've witnessed first hand what the bible did to my friends and family and nation. It turned good decent people into hate filled monsters. What has happened to my loved ones and the deadly divide in my nation could never have happened without the lie of Jesus Christ because once you can believe one lie you can believe them all which 74 million have.

Faith is not, and can not be, a reliable pathway to the truth.

If you had good evidence you would use that first, long before faith.

Faith meaning trust. Not proof of anything. You need to have faith that someone out there is going to help you, guide you and love you; that you're here for a reason. Otherwise, you are lost, alone, cold and scared. Maybe you aren't right now, and if so, God has blessed you more than others, but some are there. And, a lot who are there end up killing themselves, one way or another.
