I loved all the Turtles GameBoy games. My cousin owned them and I would get to play them on trips we took together. They stuck in my memory, so I bought them all a few years ago.
@@batmandx Well, I did like them all, but that may be because of the nostalgic value. I remember one being quite hard, actually. I can't however really say which one, because I last played them when I bought them and they have somewhat fused together in my mind. But now that you got me talking about them, I kind of want to play them again. I've got quite the commuting to do next week (by train), I think it's time to excavate my old GameBoy Pocket :)
Nice video. I just got this game and Back from the Sewers yesterday to get my nostalgia fix. Now all I need is the 3rd one Radical Rescue. Know if its any good?
This is one I never played, just didn't get to it at the time, or even emulated it since (mentioned before I'm sure you might have noticed I've never been big on emulating handhelds really) but I've had many suggest it, and seen quite a few mention how much they like it. Does seem very good, which I think at some point when I don't forget I'll finally play it. Good review Jim.
I had this game on car trips. Like you said, it's decent, but if you had Super Mario Land, that Contra Alien War port, or Metroid II, it might get lost in the shuffle
There's good reason for the music being so good: Michiru Yamane, best known for her work on the Castlevania series composed the music to this one.
JGR - Joe Goes Retro oh wow, makes perfect sense then
Man, this was back in the day. This was actually the first TMNT game I ever played.
Not a bad start, its more fun than the first NES game imo

R. F. R. Nice, how are they compared to this? This is the only one I’ve played

Valhalla's Kitchen thanks bud, and tbh I have no idea how the third is, I hear the second is more boring than the first but 3 is A mystery

KITT171 it’s def worth a play, playing for this review was the first I ever touched it and it’s def fun for the 20 mins you spend with it

Burned Retinas definitely, so many better games but it’s fun for what it is
Hate this game.
Love your review.
