Oh, just for a little funfact: The Mountie was also Jacques of The Quebecers as well, teaming alongside Quebecer Pierre (also known as PCO). Hope that makes your day. ;)
Ha, always funny the games you forget - I vaguely remember getting this as a birthday present. The NES once was so popular at this time too. Love how the crowd sounds like the waves in Link's Awakening lol
This is one I never knew of was on the GameBoy, so there's really nothing much I can say about it. But even I can tell its really great and there's much better wrestling games to play from the time yeah. Anyway still another good review guys and I found out about a wrestling game I didn't know about too! Sure Pabst Blue Ribbon isn't more fitting hahaha?
Good video. This was basically WWF Wrestlemania Steel Cage Challenge NES but instead of having the full roster of 10 wrestlers you got 6 of them and was renamed WWF Superstars 2 just to piggyback off the 1st WWF Superstars. To be honest though I'd rather play Superstars 2 than Steel Cage Challenge as Superstars 2 actually plays better. Also Mountie was pretty over as a heel during his time so I'm not too surprised he's in this game (and Steel Cage Challenge 😁).
I actually liked both Superstars 1 & 2. It isn't as smooth as the arcade version obviously but it's playable with the arcade version being a 2 button game as well.

My deepest sympathies for having to review this clunker. Between this and the Keystone light you sure this isn't some act of self-flagellation as a means of penitence ? Whatever you did you don't have to punish yourself like this!
Loving these vids. It lets me discover games i never knew existed/didn't own when growing up including this one :)
EnigmaticPsy thanks bud, appreciate it!

Lucas Hackett the quebecers are treasures

Luke's Game Page that’s a good point, easy asset reuse there haha
Nice choice of Keystone Light. Wouldn't want to see what game earns a Natty Ice pairing, though.
thenendo hahaa I'm sure we would find something

That is true, made that pop for Roddy even better when he won the IC title

Apparently, when LJN isn't butchering movie tie-in games, they're ruining WWE/F.
Carlton The Duke and they did it for a long time
Never played it, and this is about what I expected lol
Robert Douglas yeah pretty much, nothing to see here really

@@robert_douglas i aims to please....eventually
love youre videos but youre intro takes forever.
Thanks bud, yea its something we are considering reducing
I enjoy the long intro, mostly because of the catchy theme tune.
it's something we hear a lot haha, may need to cut it down
I like it, no joke its pretty much one of the very few longer intros I've seen on here I actually like, its that's good.
i love that the intro takes forever. To each their own

hahaha, we are gluttons for punishment
Will you be doing any more wrasslin games soon? Hoping your string of wrasslin videos doesn't end on a lame gameboy game.
J V yea we still got all July for wrestling games
Great!
J V we may have to revisit this some time this year as well
Lol LJN is always a sign that the game will be a pile shit
Ljn is awesome. The first superstars is a good game.
