New subscriber here.... I know I'm "a little late to the party" when it comes to knowing HOW TO HOST zoom meetings but just never had the need-to-know before. Now, I'm hoping to land a new job where I'll be using zoom to interview people remotely. I watched a couple of other youtube how-to's before yours and I just wanted to tell you how much more helpful YOUR videos have been for me. But over and above that, YOU CRACK ME UP with the little classic TV clips you've inserted here and there. PERFECT editing choices and it's always nice to see a younger generation appreciating our classics from the 60's & 70's. You have such a great sense of humor, perfect timing/placement of them, and are pretty savvy on which clips work perfectly in the flow of your videos. One question though, as a first time user and host, once the meeting has been set up, do you have to call each individual at the time set, on your tablet or will Zoom call them automatically? Lucky to find your video. You explained step by step beautifully for someone who knew nothing - exactly what I needed. Only one brief moment of confusion when you said download an app to your PC. I have been conditioned to think of apps belonging to smartphones and what I download to a PC as 'software' or 'programmes'.
You made a good point, @Indricotherium... but interestingly enough, both Windows and Mac platforms now refer to their applications to the more common "apps" now. The times, they are a changin' ;)
@@AthertonBC : I've no reason to doubt you. All the same 'application' is a word I tend to come across in the instructions for use of a tin of paint or in a job advertisement. Don't tell me, press ganged into the service of the crown princes of Silicon Valley it means 'a programme that applies software to....(something).'

This was great. I still have a question. I am using my iPad. I scheduled a meeting using the app. I have only a free account. My choices for length of meeting were only in 15 minute increments. I chose 45 minutes, as I want to be able to use the full 40 minutes available for 3 or more participants. Will choosing the 45 minutes cause a problem like locking me out of having the meeting? What else can I do? Many thanks, vickie
