If everyone’s experiencing this problem while the cable is inserted in the mic section of the Sony ZV-E10, it’s most likely the camera’s audio mic the problem (I’ve tried different cables to use for both my ZVE10 and DJI Wireless Mic II I tried using earphones with DJI’s receiver[it was picking up pretty well]) for this case I think it’s best to approach your local sony service center
@@fuelpasionpodcast Exactly the same thing lol. Was plugging my mic into wrong port over the weekend. Couldn't figure out why the volume meter wasn't showing up. Ended up shooting many clips in slow motion by accident. Nice slow mo though.
@@fuelpasionpodcast yeah mine used to work also now it doesn't and it pisses me off I tried changing it to dual mono but it fucks up my entire editing because it doesn't show the correct levels for listening back the audio
APOLOGIES! The audio is sooo low... rookie mistake.

Lol, I had the same issue. Turns out I was also using the wrong port. But this resolved it--thanks for posting
Glad you were able to figure it out!
Hey bro i got the same issue into my sony zve-10.
Did you get solution for that?
Yes! There is a mic input door right above the charging one. Totally missed it. Hope that helps.
Im having the same issue. And i plugged it in the mic port.

@@ActualCoverage Happy to hear you got it and slow motion... #winning in my book.
Hi, this video really help me. Thanks
Same problem any solution I am plugging mine in do I need to buy a new camera
If you look on the left side where the HDMI door is... look above and you will find the mic door.
I’m using the mic door and it’s still not working how annoying I even bought a new mic and new cord I think it’s my canera
Thanks for the comment and that is frustrating. I do think it is the actual camera. Double check the warranty for it.
@@fuelpasionpodcast Quick question now that you started using the mic door does it work for you know? How long have you had this camera?
@@jessiebennlive13 Mic door works. I have the Rode VideoMic Go II that I am using and all is well. Hope that helps
