फारूख शैख और आमोल पालेकर बचपन मे जब इनकी फिल्मे दूरदर्शन पे आती थी तो रोमांचक नही लगती थी,शायद उस उम्र मे मार,धाड,नाच,गानो से भरपूर रंगीन चित्र का बालमन पे ज्यादा प्रभाव था उम्र के साथ अब ये अच्छी लगती हैं,कुछ नया लगता है

How Mumbai was beautiful that time in 70 ' s era.....clean roads , simple people , simple lifestyle , not so much crowd... totally different from today's time...Amol Palekar is like neighbourhood boy...Tina looks so gorgeous....besides all the characters played their role so naturally... David is so good in this movie...all the songs are so melodious... feeling nostalgic... fantastic movie...

It is learning for current film makers .. see without any vulgarity or so called nude item numbers how hilarious comedy and benchmark movie can be done. And uthe sabke kadam song sung by Latadidi is cherry on the top. Awesome movie. Real performances of Pearl padmsee has brought jaan in movie.

This is the real bollywood. Not the one that we know and hear about today. Par excellent movie. Depicts real life & above all Mumbai that we all once lived in. Today's Mumbai has also changed.
Excellent actors have made this movie and their work immortal.
Movie is based on simple morals rules of life. Beautiful movie.
We all used to read books during traveling in local trains and buses in those days and it was not so crowded.I never thought that I'll be nostalgic for my adolescent days growing up in Bombay as it was called then.
Now everyone is on their mobile and it's so crowded plus the total atmosphere is different.
The songs of this film were an all-time favourite at that time.
These movies really bring back our childhood memories.
Very entertaining, all is happening so naturally, story of a middle class, no violence,no valgerty , one can't fed-up to watch it repeatedly , Class of Basu Chatterjee, Amol palekar & Tina Munim looks so innocent , cute & georgius , act of Tina' mother & David is wonderful

Well Amol Palekar who played tony in this film is actually an Alumni of JJ school of Arts with degree in fine arts.
Watching this film gives such a cosy home like film. I watched 3 times in a few days already. The actress's dressing is so nice, comfy and pretty. The photography is so nice, the scenes by the sea rocks. Everybody's talking about Henry, but what about Hazel? So many interesting characters in 1 movie, one wishes a movie was made on each character.
