💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

I have been watching these candy making videos for a long time. My wife and I finally decided on and agreed to make an online order. As part of the order, we got a small Thanksgiving box and a large Christmas box. I had eaten the cherry drop from the Thanksgiving box and then saw this video post. I had my wife watch the video with me. Then right before the tasting, I told her there was one of these in the Christmas box. She went and got the box and we shared the piece in it almost the exact same time the tasting was on the video. I have to say, these are soo much better than "store bought chocolate covered cherries". Thank you all for your dedication and love you pour into each batch you make. 😋 😋 😋 ❣
I'm so glad you two liked them so much! And so cool that you were able to try them during our taste test with us!
All there candy looks so good wish I could hey some but I can not get any of it keep up the Nice work on. Make all nice candy
Those look scrumptious! I would love to see some of those with orange filling, that would be awesome as well!
Love you guys!
Can you tell me we’re I can order these? 😊

My grandson (age 13) and I, (age 82) have spent so many enjoyable hours watching your videos since Craig first started up the channel. We enjoy all of your videos and Steve's dry humor lol. Also, Terry is a whirlwind being so capable with all the tasks she is responsible for. We love the whole Hercules crew. You're our main entertainment on the computer. We can't wait to see more videos from you guys in the future! Also, we've ordered candy from you multiple times and it was all fantastic!
lol?

Wholesome AF🥺🥺🥺
I love how much I can tell Cooper really cares about making candy. He's got a great attitude and passion for what he's doing. Keep up the great work.
and he's cute
@@dustbucketau were is coper I can't see him lately in the videos ?
I hope 🤞 he is paid well ❤
Craig, I SO enjoy when you vlog. It’s mostly because your interaction with your dad is very endearing. When the business was in the home and it was all family with Max and Karen, it was magical. So when it’s YOU vlogging I remember how it all started 💙
Yea. I love watching the basement videos. It’s still amazing to me how they had all that stuff in the basement.
I love how passionate Cooper is about his craft/job. It was really such a joy watching and listening to him share his learning experiences. Its so nice to see young people find their passion and reaping so much from it. His attitude is fantastic, always eager to learn and he shows great initiative! I would hire him in a heartbeat!👍
We’re SO glad we finally made the 2 1/2 hour trip to your store this past weekend! Amongst a LOT of other goodies, we definitely bought the cherry creams. So good!!!
Glad to have you stop in! Hope you got to wave at Steve and the others in the back! THANK YOU 😊
wow 2 and 1/2 hours is a long way
I wish I could order your candy but my deliveries always arrive at the end of the day and are always melted here in Florida. The trucks should be refrigerated
Can't wait to get my order! They all look delicious! Ive been watching for years and it's so calming and relaxing ! You guys are the best
I agree with you that purple cups would make the candy pop! All of you do a fantastic job making the candy there. I have become mesmerized just watching the entire process. It would be nice if I could reach inside and have just one taste of those cherry creams. Oh, I have been licking my lips ever since this video started. Lol 😋Thank you as always for sharing the up and close candy making process at the “Hercules Candy”! ❤️
PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THESE VIDEOS...ABSOLUTELY ENJOY EACH AND EVERYONE!!!...LIKE HAVING FAMILY AROUND...WHEN YER LIVING ALONE....YER FAMILY DYNAMICS IS SUCH A BLESSING....~THANK YOU!!
Cornstarch is so smooth it gives me the chills or touch it. The sound sends shivers up my spine. Nope I couldn’t do your job but you do it amazingly!
I love the dynamic between Dylan and The Coop.
Coop and Dylan are both super outgoing people who just love candy!
Cornstarch is essential for many of my recipes, love it more than flour for a thickening agent! Can’t wait to get these Cherry creams!🍒
I fully agree. Cornstarch makes a lighter gravy than flour. I use cornstarch for most of my?thickening needs in the kitchen and for bath powder in the summer. Many uses. Didn't know this one but it's an excellent use.
Poor Coop is gonna be feeling it the next day after scooping all that cream
Cream!
No need to go to the gym!
@@HerculesCandy kind of ironic isn't it... most people hit the gym to lose weight from sweets, and you guys can use the sweets to work out lol
What a great video!! I'm reminded of watching Steve.. by himself.. & with Terry.. in the basement.. working their butts off. So much respect for the family. And ultra happy to see where Hercules Candies is today.. in 2024. So happy to see the 'youngsters' making the candies & carrying on the traditions. ❤ to you all. Thanks very much.
Yes....I just placed my Christmas order, including the cherry creams. I can't wait.🤗
Have been watching your videos for a while now and just got my first order in the mail yesterday! It’s so yummy can’t wait to order more! Thank you everyone!
Gosh! I missed you guys thru Christmas 😟 This is the first notification I've seen in months! Wth?! I miss you guys & hope your holidays were prosperous & joyful 😁 Christina & The Animal Love Fest ❤😽😽😽🐺🐰💋
The cornstarch mold technique is amazing to me. It sure does turn out a great candy product.
gummy bears are made the same way.
I love cornstarch! It's so silky.
Enjoy watching you use the cornstarch molds. It's awesome.
Also a fan of milk chocolate!
Suggestion for the hard creme removing. Place a pot of hot water underneath. The steam rising. Help the metal get a bit heated around the bottom. Loosening the creme. Or even a hair blow dryer maybe, to heat the metal up?
Craig & coop, the iconic duo we didn’t know we needed, but are grateful to have. Love what you guys do! Thanks from the deep basement of my heart & soul. These videos make my day. Feel like I’m apart of something without actually being a part of it. The immense sense of family is refreshing.
Not that I don’t agree with what you’re saying but “deep basement of my heart”made my day thank you
Lol you guys are always so entertaining and good company 🤣
Love watching you guys. These cherry cremes remind me so much of how my Daddy loved chocolate covered cherries. He’s been gone almost 20 years. Would love for him to still be here and order some of these for him. 😢
I have a lump in my throat at your comment about your Dad. I lost my Dad four days before Christmas last year and I can understand your sentiment.
My dad loved them too. He has been gone for 20 years. We used to buy boxes for him for christmas and he was just fine with that.
Rest in peace, Dad.
Really love how they show how everything gets made how everything works and them taking I like hearing there voices when they talk great job
Just ordered 3 boxes. I love you guys keeping the old school candy company alive. I have a RUclips channel but it's not candy related haha. Love you guys and keep it up.
I just love all you videos! Happy Holidays everyone!!!
My guess for the cherries separating is that the sugar is heavier than the cherry pieces. The same theory could be applied to layered drinks and why you do the higher sugar contents first.
Sweet corn! Great video yet again! God bless and merry christmas to you and your family and workers!
Cool, thanks for sharing. Glad there are still guys like y'all who make it personal. Great video ❤
My first time watching. I found this so interesting, I am wanting to see more. Cooper is very charismatic and knows his art(candy making) well.
You should give back to watch them in the basement of the house. They have grown quit a bit.
@@kimkemeys9563 Thats what I did, went back to the start and watched 5 a week until I caught up.
These cherry creams are my fav along with the barks and chocolate covered animal crackers. I love the starch to finish series, Craig. Thanks for another fun vidya:)
You have great taste Crystal 👌
What are the chocolate covered animal cookies called or how do I find them?
I found them
@@donnaswanson6190 They are so good:)
Oh boy, I just splurged and sent in an order. Love " Cooper quotes "
Candy holding hands..etc. too funny 😁 Love you guys !
With the very cherry creams I hope! Haha either way thanks for supporting us Cyndi!
@@HerculesCandy Yep 😁
“Made today to use tommorow” I love how fresh you guys make stuff :-)
Anything for you guys!
Where/how do you find such great employees? Love Coopers attitude! He will succeed in life no matter what he does, hopefully he stays in the candy filed or becomes a pastry chef.
Cornstarch crunch sounds like good crunchy snow
I miss watching max do the moulds
Chocolate covered cherries are my favorites. Just watching this wants more. And I bet these are the best cherry drops ever. One day I’ll get to order and this will be number one purchase
I wish that I could buy some but I doubt that they’d travel very well all the way here to Australia ☹️ Your staff are just so lovely and your confections look delectable!!! ❤️🇦🇺❤️
That thumbnail! 😆 Subscribed!
Keep up the good work guys!! I lol' d out for real a few times!
I'd be interested to see all of the different sugar crystal structures under a microscope
Get a really nice look at what makes a cream sugar different from a pulled taffy different from a hard candy
Wow, such a fun video! They’re so talented.
I watched many of the videos a while back, been trying to find the channel for a few months now. I subbed this time to i can keep watching
Welcome home!
Frankly I never thought much about Cornstarch 🤪 but I have a feeling Coop will be dreaming about Cornstarch & Cherry Creams for a long while 🤣😂🤣
Cooper, Brian and the camera man laugh 😃 I love it 😀 that's some very hot candy syrup
So fun to watch💫🥰
I feel like I missed something. so many new faces! (sort of) and a new candy maker! What have I missed?
Cooper seems quite talented, adjusting details like water content and temperature, trying to create a better product. it truly is an art
I love corn starch, I think it's great for cooking, baking, candy making and to play in with little kids lol
We loved when my mom put it in our bath water !! 🐣
Happy Holidays.. I love this video, I don't know how you all do this but I'm impressed and hungry...lol. I wanna try the chocolate covered cherries and the pecan clusters.. my favorite
Been few years but I’m glad to see you guys are still in business
im coming to the store soon, i cant wait! i was in syracuse like 10x this year and just completely forgot,,,im up north so i will be in soon
Ooh they look so yummy and handmade too! I could do that as I have the patience of a Saint!!! Love assembly work! How satisfying to see these being make and so glad for you that they sell well!
When you guys start taking about spongebob I was sitting here thinking, dang I'm feeling old. 🤣
Cooper is the perfect fit for hercules! He's so great!!!!!
Totally interesting! I was mesmerized.
I feel like a road trip is in order! I need to visit your store!
I like the texture of cornstarch. We'd play with it as kids and then put water in it and it becomes a really cool hard/liquid consistency. I hope for Cooper's sake that the 2nd batch wasn't so hard.
It was very smooth, so no worries :)
The crunch reminds me of walking on snow personally
13:18 Wholeheartedly agree. It’s like nails on a chalk board.
Nicely done.
Amazing to watch. I now have a real appriciarion for the ones who make candy for us to enjoy. Thanks for video.
I could watch you make candy all day.
This video convinced me to go online and buy some of this delish product. Keep up the good work!
You all rock. we love ya Merry Christmas.
Just got my sour green apple hard candies in the mail and oh my lawd. Soooo good. Also, are you able to do full bags of Lime?
For those that came from the old shop do you miss watching movies while making candy? Seeing Steve in the back room alone made me think of the old shop.
You can see the TV in the main room. I'm sure they watch all kinds of stuff on it, including movies, but these days Craig has to be much more careful about showing content that might be found and pinged by a copyright bot.
Trust me, Steve gets a good portion of Christmas movies and Monty Python when the cameras aren’t rolling :)
I definitely get goosebumps and chills when u guys work with the corn starch especially that damn whisk omg 😆 🤣
Watching the crème being covered by chocolate reminds me of Lucy and Ethel at the chocolate company. 😜😜
Thanks for the great video
I understand the crunchy cornstarch feeling when it's packed tight into a small container. Sends chills up my spine.
Thick water doesn't quench the thirst I learned that when I was recovering from covid. However on a happier note the cherry creams are amazing!!!!
Listening to you talking about cornstarch and then thinking about it too much made me think of when handling Styrofoam and it makes that screeching sound😱😱😱
Thumbnail was very creative 10/10
Haha. I love the thumbnail. Very animated.
Cornstarch crunch reminds me of the snow how it crunches when you step in it.
Silly question, if you warmed up the paddles would it be any easier to remove the cream? Maybe a pot of boiled water to keep the temp up.
He needs a bigger and stronger tool to remove that stiff cream. That was ridiculous.
They talked about that actually, but it would have to be done in between each scoop because the cream would cool the paddle down again
Yum! I love these candies! I used to buy my Dad a box of chocolate covered cherries every Christmas.
Love corn starch! It's a great sensory product if ya add just a little water on a tray 😉
Coop is a hero. He’s going to be buff. lol
Isn't there a viscosity meter? That might work to see what thickness the cream will be.
The crunch of cornstarch reminds me of the crunch of New snow!!!
Good stuff
For the thick cream get some ice cream scoops like the antique Baskin and Robbins. I collect ice cream scoops. They are solid as heck
Hi guys👋🎄👩🍳 everything's looking great! I did wonder Steve why is it you don't bring that pan of water down closer to the bucket on a stool so you don't have to keep standing up and bending over to the bucket that has to be hard on the back this way you put your hands in the pan and it's right next to the bucket and you get it done faster and less wear and tear on the back 🤗 IMHO 🤷♀️💕
Man, those look so good! My mouth is watering 😌😋🤤
The Corn Starch Crunch reminds me of walking in the Snow ❄
That’s how we feel!
I’m going to make some chocolate covered cherries some time this, or next week. I’ll send you a video.
The thumbnail is awesome 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesomeness explained!
MMMMM....cremes are my favorite especially cherry! Sure wish someone had gifted me some, I guess I could be my own Valentine this year and buy myself some.
So enjoyable watching an younger generation love their trade👍 makes me smile😁
This channel is better than The Ozzy & Harriet Show. Love you folks like The Nelson's. Just much sweeter and enjoyable. Best treats around. Keep up. The good work.
Looks yummy!
Y'all are genius! Filming the candy being made is the best PR.....I have $85 worth of candy in my Hercules candies cart 😂
I also h8 the way that corn starch crunches, it reminds me of the cotton balls the dentist uses in your mouth and it's like nails on a chalk board 😣
Ordered 4 boxes today after lunch and they shipped already. Excited to taste them
IDK if it would help but its an idea that might work to ease the transition of cream out of the creamer to maybe heat up the putty knives in a bowl of hot water each time u go to scoop out the cream when it gets really hard like that plus it wouldn't be a lot of water going into the cream so it wont change the consistency that much if any ......maybe even try heating up the cream too a bit with a hair dryer just to where it eases out better ...hope my ideas work for u … that's torture watching copper scrape that cream out when its super hard like that i say he needs a pay raise on that one lol more gumdrops for cooper lol great video ya'll !!!
I love cornstarch. I like the crunch. Like fresh snow crunch.
Great video nice ppl too. 🍭🍭
To me, the crunch of corn starch sounds like walking in snow.
