Like, say you do something retarded in Until Dawn and get everyone killed due to your own incompetence. Your playthrough will suck. In something like THIS however, sucking and getting killed is funny because it doesn't make the entire playthrough suck (unless of course you never get passed it,) and a death or failure is just a small setback as opposed to something that fucks up the playthrough.

Then Ryan fucked up with Jessica escaping and because of that the playthrough ended up sucking ass at the end because all but Emily and Mike got killed off in one fell swoop. You go on about how it "encourages multiple playthroughs," which means NOTHING when someone records it once and only once. If you're incompetent and get everyone killed, or almost everyone killed, your playthrough is going to suck, plain and simple, especially if they're only doing one run. There's a reason there was an absurd amount of backlash for that final part of Until Dawn. A "huge plus," means that being incompetent and fucking up hardcore makes your playthrough terrible.

Not sure if Let's Watch is a newer thing or if they've done it for a while but damn it's good. It's like having a mini Achievment Hunter podcast! Gavin and Ryan would have been great to see there aswell though.
This is the third episode of it. The first one which came out a few weeks ago was P.T., which was the test episode to see if people liked it. Then last week was the first of the weekly episodes with Michael playing Sunset Overdrive.
It's more the feeling of dread providing the scares. You know something bad is going to happen, the atmosphere and environment say it is, but you don't know when or where. That's what makes Slender so scary: you know he's there, but you don't want to see him.
Russell Brown Atmosphere and environment in this game is cliche as hell. A dark forest? Never been done before, like, ever. Same with the mining area. Slenderman being anywhere at any time? 90% of the time he's behind you and occasionally will teleport in front of you, which you can just flick your mouse and go the other way. He's not that scary, either. He's a tall white guy....maybe it's because I'm a tall white guy, I dunno. All he really does is stand there, and I suppose standing is pretty spooky, right?
I never understand Geoff's logic of, "This thing is scary and will possibly hurt me.So I'm gonna look away from it, go to the corner and hope it leaves me alone."
My eternal struggle of wanting to watch these lot be scared but not wanting to be scared. :( PS, to everyone who comments on every jump scare / horror game RT ever put out saying "this isn't scary", fear is different for each person. Just like some people are scared of heights or spiders, fear is personal and inconsistent concept. Just because you don't find it scary, doesn't mean other people shouldn't be scared.
Theres a difference between being surprised and scared. Jump "Scares" are surprises and you're not in any mortal danger. Facing off with a man killing bear would induce fear and cause you to immediately go into Fight or Flight mode, this is what I would call Fear.
There are different levels of fear. Facing off a bear is completely rational fear, whereas being scared by a house spider or being scared while riding in an elevator are completely irrational. Fear of a game is completely irrational and illogical, but it's still fear nonetheless.

Fuck me, what's up with their graphics? I've seen 3 other playthroughs of this game and the graphics and lighting looked amazing. This is stupidly dark and the graphics are utter shite. Don't get me wrong, i liked the video as you guys were in it but the way your game is set up, it looks horrible.
