I found it really relaxing, tbh. Just Gavin and an empty room in the middle of the day, kicking back while we wait for Michael to get back. It's like you're sitting in the car with your best friend waiting for your mutual mate to get back from paying for fuel at the gas station.
I don't know what it is, but every time there's a particularly rough patch in my life I come back to this series. When my dog died, I came here. When my doctor said we'd tried every medication, I came here. When my brother's wife revealed herself to be a abusive to her husband and three kids, I came here. There have been many other times, but those are the most notable. Yesterday I got the feeling that I wanted to watch this again, and came here again. Two hours later my 18 year old cat died. I'm 21. I have never experienced a part of my life without this cat. She's my sister. And I'm pretty sure my other cat is going to follow her very soon. I guess I'm just trying to say thankyou. I don't know why these videos help, but they do. So, thankyou.

There's so many cozy moments in this episode alone. Normally I'd get annoyed if someone spent 5 minutes fixing their controller or going to the toilet while their friend has a quiet chat with the viewers; I'd get mad. But here, it's just pleasant.
Reporting for my millionth watch, I salute you all lol. In addition to the commentary, Outlast itself was great. Shame that the creators totally overthought the 2nd one to the point of making a terrrrrribly boring and kinda pointless game.
Rewatching all the time as well, honestly I probably wouldn’t be as obsessed with outlast as I am if not for it being a play pals. It’s such a comfort playthrough.

You guys have to play the Whistleblower DLC after you're done with the main game. It takes place at the same time of this one, except from the perspective of the guy who wrote you the email at the beginning of the game. It's really good, and it's also much more graphic in some places than the main game is, in my opinion.

It just occurred to me that they rarely, if ever address the audience directly; they talk amongst themselves, and sometimes reference the audience, but I honestly can't recall them ever addressing us directly. That's why it felt so different I think.

I just wanna say (as weird as it sounds) this series has a special place in my heart. There was a solid week in 2016 where I watched it on repeat because I was having a bad time with my mental health and it was the only thing that made me laugh. it wasn't drifting. he was holding up on the right stick when he turned the controller on so the console registered up as the default position of the stick. all he had to do was turn the controller off and then back on to reset the inputs.

I've had some pretty shitty controller drifting issues, but I've never seen one as bad as the one you guys dealt with
OGN SpangBab yea my 360 controller walks to the left in all my games.
it wasn't drifting. he was holding up on the right stick when he turned the controller on so the console registered up as the default position of the stick. all he had to do was turn the controller off and then back on to reset the inputs.
OGN SpangBab last time i had controller drifting issues this bad was on the old GameCube
I had that exact drift problem, it was incredibly frustrating

I suck shit at video games, but I've watched enough Outlast to know that you find a place to hide, THEN turn the thing on. Finding a place to hide is the first thing you should do when entering every room, and that whole thing around 38:00-40:00 was giving me a coronary because the lockers were RIGHT THERE!

I love that the first file Michael read was the same message written from the protagonist of the DLC Whistleblower, and at the end of DLC we use Miles car to escape.
That one on one talk with Gavin seemed so intimate.
I love Lets Watch because they play until the end, and I love Michael and Gavin, Team Dynamite is my favorite duo of Achievement Hunter.
