One of the most talented and underrated musicians out there fronting an equally amazing band. Great interview.

100% agreed. I've been a huge fan of seether and idolized Shaun for about 15 years now. I've always thought he was underrated, he's VERY talented, one of the very few GENUINE, true artists out there right now.

Calhoon Ledebur I see you're a Breaking Benjamin fan too. Awesome taste in music. I recommend bands like Disturbed, Evanescence and Lacuna Coil

I LOVE Seether but this is the 1st time I've seen this interviewer.... he is awesome! Actually letting the artist talk without a bunch of interruptions, yet guiding the interview and keeping things on track. Dude, glad you moved to the States.

Shaun nails it when he describes what mainstream “music” is. It’s time for rock to rise above this amd show those rappers and pop artists what it means to be an artist

Where do i begin about Shaun. Lol
I think he was one of the coolest, most down to earth badasses in music. Tells it like it is, pull no punches kind of guy. I totally agree with him about Sully lol
I really wish he and the rest of Seether get the respect and recognition that is long overdue. He is a great song writer and his vocals just keep getting better and better. This is their best album yet.
A Big thank you to Seether for keeping rock alive!!!

"I don't know if there are less goths on the planet..." 😂🤣 But jokes aside: I've noticed that too in the last 10 years. It seems that there are less alternative people (emos, goths, punks, metalheads etc.) out there like it used to be in the 2000's back in my teenage years. Maybe they're more visible on the internet/social media than in real life... In Europe we didn't have Hot Topic but shops that were quite similar or we bought our outfits from mainstream shops. For instance I bought my stuff from H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Claire's (jewellery; black cotton, velvet, lace, fishnet gloves/arm warmers, leg warmers, tights etc.), Forever 21/Forever 18 etc. because clothes were much more affordable there. I purchased different pieces from different shops and compiled my own outfits.

I had a dream of being in his house and I remember from the dream getting the tour and seeing boring brown and white. And there it is. Did I visit his house in the astral plane? 😂 If so he's chosen to block out the light with curtains on his big ass windows because that room looks dank lol.

This album had a amazing guitar work, I'm still surprised about it. And i don't get how Shaun never gets old, his voice is still the same after all this time of singing and screaming. The only think i kinda disliked on the album were the lyrics, I feel they were not powerful as the ones on their last stuff, although Shaun is a amazing writer.

    Back in the day...
Parents on their kids: Don't listen to...
Rap: Marshall Mathers - Bad influence
    Grunge: Nirvana - Drug addict
But when you see their lyrics, MASTERPIECE!
Spotify and all other digital stores killed the radio stations. Music played on radio is precious because there is a thrill feeling that when you miss the start of a song, you know you can't play it back.
I liked this interview. Shaun is so brilliant, as always.

On streaming services how do the band members get paid? Is it one lump sum or do they get a % every time a song is played by a subscriber (ie Amazon Music)? Thanks to anyone who can help answer my question. Much ✊
