You are far, FAR from the only person who does this! But, when I'm in a store or restaurant that plays relaxing lounge music or muzak, I always tell the staff how much I appreciate it.
I've had to leave more than one store because of the song firework. I just don't want to be screamed at while I'm trying to pick out some burritos y'know? Lol
[07] 13:38 More unison low register clarinets! ..."I Used To Love You (But It's All Over)" ...For me, the great Thomas "Fats" Waller has the definitive renditions.
Ah, those are all "Suspense" episodes. I've done re-creations of two lost episodes of "Suspense": "The Eavesdropper" (a 1950s episode, which I also directed) and "Witness on the Westbound Train" (from the first season, with an extremely creaky script that was recycled from an early 1930s radio show). Nobody else has re-created these lost episodes, so our versions are the definitive ones!
bring back muzak! i can't be the only person who occasionally has to leave a store because of the excruciating music.

Believe me, I feel you!
100% me… but no place has the balls to play beautiful music, they’d rather play loud trash
I'm autistic and feel that if stores played this I could manage better
Boy oh boy did you finds cellulite nugget of gold with this purchase! Thank you for sharing your collection!!!!
2:52 is a cover of Duncan by Paul Simon. It was driving me crazy but I finally figured it out whew!
now if we only knew what track 4 was titled, its one of my favorites
Thanks for the post. Brings back memories of when I listened to Muzak via SCA in the late 1970's.
what a time to be alive… if only muzak was still playing out there today
I like music and songs from many genres, but muzak is one of my favorites. It would be great to hear this music in stores again.
Relaxing
Another great find. Love it !!!

22:10 is I'll Be Yours for those wondering.

19:14 - sounds like; Things We Did last summer
11:29 Why don’t You Fall In Love - arr. Frank Hunter
What was the radio drama program on the tape? I research old radio shows, and do re-creations of them with Project Audion.
The titles of the drama programs on the full tape are Menace In Way, Two Sharp Knifes, Till Death Do Us Part, and Fire Burn and Caulrdon Bubble

[02] sounds like Morricone, could that be “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”?
Feels like the end credits to a late 70s action movie
@@LeCanalEnnuiits a take on Paul Simon’s “Duncan”

"You've Got A Friend" might've been arranged by Arnold Goland, "Things We Did Last Summer" is by Denny Vaughan.
