Whenever I hear "they are the last survivors" in an apocalypse movie I always figure even if somehow they actually were they'd never actually know because the world is two big and after almost any apocalypse I doubt many of the communications stuff either won't work or they find something that does but have no actual idea on how to use it
As it seems that the infected can control their powers. I feel like the government would use them in some sort of way weaponize them instead of exterminating them immediately. So I feel like the soldiers had tranquilizers but switched to real firearms when the dad got violent.
Makes sense considering they threw nets instead of just shooting them. They could have easy thrown a grenade or just shot them but decided on netting them
I think that’s impractical/impossible and (as long as there is no cure) the government’s actions in the movie are sensible. As shown, the soldiers require complete body armor and protection as just removing the mask would lead to them being infected. Just being in the presence of an infected person leads to infection, as the virus is airborne. Either way, I seriously doubt that tranquilizers would work on vampiric monsters.
you could acutally technically become a super human if u can control anger and anxious all though while trying to control that u might catch like 250 bodys in the process.
I love how Zoey was both incredibly terrified of the “breathers” getting into their shelter, but needed to be convinced of the importance of hiding from them in the shelter.
They knew they were the monsters themselves, that's why they told the daughter that she always had to stay calm and not get angry... because otherwise she would transform into the monster they knew she was. They didn't care if she infected them.
@@fynkozari9271 you may change your mind if you had a daughter/son to protect. When they're calm they feel just the same they always did, the daughter didn't even know they were sick. As long as I'm not a threat to other's, which they don't seem to be, I would do everything to survive, it's human nature after all.
You should see the movie before coming to the conclusion the characters are dumb. They always knew the vent was there, this video just make it seem like they didn't.
But how do they devour the whole contents, so the family does not know it's being done. Surely there would be some evidence of liquid on the shelf. Plus, rats piss and shit where they eat.
@@NIGHTOWL-jf9zt Good point. The smell of rat output would be noticable quite early, as it will deviate from the single odor they got used to staying in one place for so long. Next to this, it will be dead silent down there and all, being in survival mode, will be extra alert. So many cans chewed on and dropped, they would have noticed. Especially the kid, having near perfect hearing at her age. But hey, it is pretty original and actually possible and made us interact about it :-)
I think killing sick people (including children) who aren't hurting anyone because they have the potential to be dangerous still makes the "breathers" the monsters in this scenario. Its not like they're zombies they are capable of staying calm and being normal they should be trying to cure them not kill them.
Breathers are just working on logic, we have not seen how other infected people manifested themselves, surely other infected people must have created a rampage, therefore soldiers are out killing potential threats. Its like saying we should not interfere in other countries pursuing nuclear programmes because countries that do have them have almost not used them. The potential of destruction is too much to let them pass.
@@mradulchourasiya3868 whether it seems logical or not it isn't ok. they never tried to help them from the beginning they tried to blow them up before they even showed symptoms. Really hope a disease like this never really shows up if "logic" dictates to kill the survivors instead of giving them medical treatment. For goodness sake the survivors were even quarantineing themselves. No matter what the initial ones did its pretty clear the current ones are no longer a threat.
I think in life the safest and seemingly "logical" approach would often be the most selfish approach, such as to simply kill off all the infected in the world. The downside is that even though you survive and is perfectly secure, you also unconsciously lose some of your own heart and soul in the process, making your own survival less and less meaningful as time goes on. Just like how most human beings live an entire life of non-stop competition and survival and doing many things at the expense of others or nature, only to find themselves having to bind themselves to all sorts of ultimately meaningless attachments in life, just to compensate/distract them from their inner emptiness. (To the point where most will not even realize their inner suffering anymore, until their life's comforts and attachments are taken away from them through various traumatic experiences.) On the other hand doing genuinely right and altruistic things in life, often requires doing things above the status quo and taking risks you can never 100% predict or control. The downside is that even though your soul is ennobled and you find true value and meaning in doing the right things, your own survival is often threatened or jeopardized in the process. Both Good and Evil, altruism and selfishness, are simply tools to teach human beings about something else, far greater than both good or evil, Heaven or Hell. Which is why there is this emptiness in the heart of every human being, driving the human race to the very extremes of both good and evil. The light in the exact center of the light bulb, will only light up when this bulb is connected to both the positive and negative sides of the battery. It's all part of Nature's evolutionary process that will eventually lead all human beings to a new type of consciousness that transcends all good and evil, heart and logic, altruism and selfishness. Enlightenment.
In a survival situation, kindness is a luxury. You can be nice or you can be dead. You have the same energy as the dude who hides his zombie bite and then ends up killing 10 people in the process.
