It's crazy that 11 years later, a lot of this tech is available on even entry level cars.
...but no longer on an Evoque! 360° cameras, Clearview mirror and other options are no longer available even as options. LR is going backwards...
@@fredericvandamme4821that's not true, they might've just removed it from the base trim. The 2020 SE has it. I know the 2020 S doesn't even have heated seats though

In my opinion , range rover wanted to come up with a car good for urban living, and ideal for middle class. With a great size for parking, and looks that make you turn your head, I think it's a good buy!

nice review by James May and in the video he says about the back seats which is quite small perhaps Chris Harris in series 23 should do a review on the Evoque or Range Rover diesel hybrid by having Emma Bunton in the backseat
The best show on television. I have an Evoque it is a very fun car to drive but yes, the mirrors are comically large. Huge blind spots on both sides.

What people always fail to mention when testing these 'Softroaders' and telling the world just how great they are and how they always keep up with low range gear box fitted proper 4x4s is the amount of damage sustained by the softroader and how weak the plastic protection is, it's fine until you get stuck or lodged on a rock, then you have to tear the thing apart to get it off. I would hate to see the state of the under side after going over all those rocks!

@nicholas carter out of warranty land rovers are one of the fastest depreciating vehicles due to cost of parts and unreliability

@@isaakwelch3451 honestly it really doesn't matter. cars like the evoque won't be taken off road, just nice to know it's better than the competition. the depreciation is shocking but that's good news - means folks on a budget can scoop a nice one up later.
@@mylifeasmanta the reason they depreciate is because they fall apart. An out of warranty range rover is just about the worst possible car you can buy, financially

I think the evoque starts at 40k usd, and the range rover is at 80k. For that kind of money, I say they are really worth it, also when you have a JLR car, people think you're rich.

Very true. You drive around America for a while and you see a lot of pickups hauling trees that they cut down somewhere or a Wrangler that''s completely covered in mud. There are many uses in the US for a good off-roader or pickup, from yard work to hauling a boat to having fun. There aren't as many places you can do that in Europe.
Europe has massive forests and lots of mud my friend.
