If you didn't like the way the bambu labs top mount filaments needed to be replaced then you MUST give this a try!

Did you used the auto flow from the slicer?
When I use it I get layer shifts, inconsistent extrusion and like the pa is not set at all.
for the model u mean?
In general. Have you observed any changes in print quality with auto flow on and off.
@@VandalBee oh okay sorry I misunderstood you at first, I haven't tested that, but I will. stay tuned.
I just did the exact same thing, except I mounted it 180 degrees around so that it comes forward instead of back. Of course the AMS still faces the same way. I couldn't have it going back because of some shelving just above and behind my A1. To me it make more sense anyway as the centre of gravity is more central now. I have seen videos where the whole printer wobbles back and forth due to the AMS centre of gravity being so far back.
Out of interet, why are the holders for the AMS lite all still hiding the hole you stick the filament in? is it not easier if the holes were facing forward? or up?
come to my discord and explain , i really don't know what u are talking about sorry.
@@aim6macit seems I can't accept the discord invite... probably cuz I don't know how to use discord very well. I'll try and explain here though. When the AMS lite is set up out of the box (on the right side of the printer), you have to feed the filament in from underneath the AMS lite while pressing the button on the top... probably because the PTFE tubes arch nice and easily out the top of the AMS into the top of the extruder... that seems tricky to reach back and fumble for the hole with the filament, I don't know, mine hasn't arrived yet. If you move the AMS lite over the top of the printer, then the PTFE tubes could point down, and therefore the holes would be on top and easier to see if you were standing. If you can pull the AMS lite forward as well, then the holes would be in front more, even easier to insert filament? To get this on the frame though, I don't know if the PTFE tubes would bend that much? If you could pull the unit forward though, the weight would be better supported and you wouldn't need the stiffener feet on the back.
@@tribalrhino interesting point...
Did you need to use longer ptfe tubes, do they need to be lengthened?
no i'm using the same PFTE tubes, u could even shorten them a little, but to be honest not recommended to shorten them.
@@aim6mac it looks good 👍
@@BennyTygohome thank you, i like this one better then the original
Does it print ABS filament Did you use it?
PLA though is what it's been printed with
brother you have to step up your camera game and lightning, the camera wasn't focused when you showed the black part. Best wishes.
