Just to let you know Vinny, the door with the 4 roman numerals on it in Clair de Lune is actually a very useful pistol upgrade that you really wont find at all unless you're a secret hunter. There are 3 other buttons on each of the limbo stages hidden away, and in my opinion there isn't much shame in looking up a guide to find them. Anyways its not required, but makes the charge piercer shot a lot more useful (and significantly more satisfying to shoot). It's very fun seeing you get better at this game as you progress; don't worry, it'll get harder, but will feel great as you learn how to take down each enemy efficiently and which weapons to combo together to do so.
painful to watch vinny play a frenetic movement shooter standing still, walking trying to outrun enemies faster than him, almost no jumping, but fun as hell game
and you can punch them too, this will surprisingly increase the damage of the coin which, if you do that long enough, you can one shot an enemy with ease.
It’s always interesting to see what people pick up on first. I immediately started jumping around and bouncing off the walls when I first played, but I’m still not good at parrying. Meanwhile, Vin nails the timing first try, but starts off sticking to the ground a lot.
Couple awesome things Vinny. 1. Multiple coins can chain themselves into one another, as in: Toss 4 coins, shoot a coin, that ricochets into every other coin and charge up that shot into a super shot essentially. 2. The Railgun can ricochet from the coins with the same stronger effect. Try it out if you can! 3.The Shotgun can parry attacks at *point blank range* if timed correctly. But the floating heads will always be parried at point blank regardless of what it's doing. 4. I see you've been having trouble with said heads, so the Nailgun indeed is an effective choice, dealing double damage. For some reason, the ground slam also deals a large amount of damage to them as well I don't usually post comments giving tips, because it's preferred to play how you want, but I love this game too, and wanted to help a bit how I can, with information.
I think giving tips to content creators is valid for this game because there's so much stuff you wont know about if you don't play the game more than once or look up guides on advanced mechanics. It's also short, because early access, but that shouldn't be an issue forever lol.
My favorite bit about the duelist pistol, is that you can totally use it to hit behind you, and If you angle and time it just right, you can punch the damn coin too. There's so many little techs in this game, it's wild.

I love that most people see the overcharge shotgun like it's a skill game at first, trying to never overheat, when the real skill game is consistently using the i-frames of the dash to escape the self damage, unleashing a localized nuke on your enemies. I don't think I've fired it at anything other than max level ever since I learned it. Aside from shotgun swapping and shotgun parry swapping of course
A few tips on the coin gun since Vin loves it so much (I do too): 1. You can punch the coin into an enemy's weak point and it will fly back up into the air to either shoot or punch again. 2. You can shoot the charged pistol shot or the railcannon into the coin and it will auto target enemies like the normal pistol shots. 3. You can throw more than one coin at once and it will hit more weakpoints. You can also split a single shot with one coin if you time your shot correctly; theres a flash on the coin for the timing. 4. (Somewhat technical) Combining these, if you use the knuckleblaster (red fist) on a coin, throw another coin, then shoot the second coin with the railcannon, you can create a practical orbital strike. 5. (REALLY technical) You can throw coins behind/in front of enemies for more hits of the railcannon to go through them. You can use all 4 to hit an enemy 5 times with the same railcannon shot.
