Knuckles is an absolute riot. Wade Whipple’s over-the-top antics give the stoic echidna a much-needed foil, and the result is a laugh-a-minute road movie that just happens to be a six-part miniseries. It’s bold, creative, and takes some big swings. And there’s some heartwarming payoff, too, as Knuckles and his hapless human sidekick grow ever closer with each passing episode. Knuckles really nails what made Sonic and Sonic 2 so great, but with its own unique style and a bit of ’80s flare.

The quality of the CGI is on par with the movies and it's 6 episodes of at least 40 minutes. That would be 4 hours at least, twice the length of the movie, having more scenes with Knuckles would be more expensive than the movie, and in the long run not worth it.
@@Derek21701 It's 172 minutes. The first and last episode are about 35 minutes each and the rest of the time is divided among the other four episodes. So it's almost more like an OVA. Which is funny because KNuckles has his hat from the OVA.
Knuckles is in the series for about half of that time.

Hopefully the franchise stops focusing on the human side characters. Next movie should focus on Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Eggman. That’s it.
I'd be cool with some Tom and hos wife in the sidelines tho, since they're Sonics family

Yeah, basically. It is mostly about Wade and here and there some Knuckles sprinkled in. The “final boss fight” lasts like 7min because the two eps before are all about a Bowling tournament.

It is though... 80% of the show is about Wade... the side character that helps Tom in both Sonic movies... KNUCKLES IS RARELY IN IT.

These no name humans aren’t the protagonist for reason.
My guess is that Paramount's gonna focus on the side characters on spin off series, while focusing more on the Main characters in the movies
is it an enjoyable series or not?
If they are gonna make it as high quality as the movies, it makes sense they will have to cut costs by showing less scenes of CGI characters, besides, there has never really been a Knuckles spinoff game, with the closest thing being Sonic 3 & Knuckles (1994) already somewhat adapted in Sonic Movie 2, so it's fair to have humans. Keep that in mind. Go watch SpeedSuperSonic's video on that subject he explains it more in detail

Wish it was just one movie.
It would be almost three hours long if that was the case. And the rumor is that the third movie is projected to be around 2 and a half hours long. It's impossible to get an exact run time because post production is still happening, so this is just a projected approximation.
TLDR; it is ok if not a mild disappointment. It will get another season.

I'm sorry but this show was meh, a shameless way to get us to sign up for Paramount Plus.
They could easily make a prequel to Sonic 3 with Knuckles and expand on the lore of Master Emerald and his clan. Or even introduce a new character who will be an essential for the 3rd movie if they go for the Sonic Adventure 2 plot mixed with the Shadow the Hedgehog plot like Rouge or Amy or idk.
But noooooo, they went with Wade the Dimple, a character that nobody cares about as the main plot.
Do yourself a favor and don't watch this show as it's a waste of time and contributes nothing to this cinematic universe.

@@Navin-zv3kn No. It's bad because the titular character is barely having anything to do with the plot. Not to mention he has almost no effect on anything that happens in the series. When you think of a show about Knuckles, a well-known character, you certainly don't think that he will be cast aside to a comedic side character from the movies.

@@Navin-zv3kn He is okay as a comic relief character but since when a comic relief character who appears for 2-5 mins in the movies get to be the main character in a 6-episode series about an Echidna alien from space. it's like if you do a show about Happy Hogan from MCU and call the show Iron-Man, nobody will watch that.
