Hi Vikas, thanks for the informative video. I have updated our exchange server 2019 to CU13 H1 update and enabled extended protection after disabling the ssl offloading for outlook anywhere. Currently we are facing issue to connect to the exchange server from our client(linux based, which uses wine library to connect to exchange). In the debug logs, i could see password prompts related log but in UI i dont see any prompt and eventually the authentication fails. I have LmCompatibilityLevel to 5. When i disabled the extended protection, the authentication works. Could you please help me in this regard.

Thanks for your work.. can you please tell what version of .net is require for windows server 2019 ? also i have cu12 of exchange 2019 can i go directly to cu14 ?

No CU12 is no longer supported and will not receive any future SUs. Upgrade to CU 13 first and enable the extended protection and then install CU 14. Prepare Schema is not required. You can prepare AD and run the setup

it is cu12 with September 2023 update, so can i go directly to cu14 ? plus i was asking about .net version for server 2019.

.net 4.8 is needed on server 2019. .net 4.8.1 is supported on server 2022. And still Microsoft recommends to update to cu13 first
