One other thing about this lantern, you can run it off USB power without the battery installed. That's handy if you're recharging and still want to use the light off of mains power, or if you need to run it off a USB power bank. I just ordered a couple of them. I have a couple of the LT1s and if they're half as good as them I'll be thrilled. Especially at the sale price!

Just got this off AliExpress for 30 bucks. Planning to use this on my camping trips! Hoping it holds up!

I think you'll enjoy it. Mine is still working well and this video is very old. 😎👍

Have the full size LT1 from sofirn and love it. Use it for camping and works all weekend. Might add a LT1s to my lineup.

Great review! Was looking at the Olight mini as it’s half price at the moment in the UK but put off as the battery is fixed. Just ordered this from Amazon a few hours ago 😁

Hi, nice video, do you know if the lantern have memory so you can power on the lantern with 1 click into red mode low lvl, or you have to use always 3 clicks to enter red? Ty

Bought the LT1 orange with case from Amazon and batteries were missing. Guess I’ll try this one. The AI is too much for a 70 man. I like this one.

Maybe if olight wouldn't spent a majority of their budget on marketing they could make a lantern like that.
    Great review tho!

Right, like let's cut the marketing team out of the equation and just send some lights to honest reviewers and we could get lights like this from olight at a decent price. I swear between marketing and the giveaways it not helping their pricing.

Is there a smooth ramping for the red light?

Hello, I want to buy an LT1S, but I have 21700 Fenix batteries, they are a little longer than normal, will they work for me? Accepts 77mm 21700 batteries.

I have lots of extra 18650 batteries. Would this work with an 18650 and an adapter sleeve?

      I don't see why not 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you for the review. The Sofirn lantern is on March sale (2023) at the time of this comment. It only lacks a magnetic base or tripod screw receptacle to fix it securely in various locations although the base is completely flat. It is much prettier in my opinion than these Olight lanterns and more capable as well. Olight cannot win them all!

Have you seen olights new olantern? it looks cool, but that olight brand name tax.. way too expensive for what is.

I like this design. it's well thought out but I wish they worked with Toykeeper and DBSar instead of copying the Anduril. This product soured the relationship with DBSar and we haven't really seen any BLF projects since.

I get why you call this “a real review” now. Other channels kind of feel like men talking about their collection, rather than reviewing the light specs.
