The Sofirn LT1S is what i would pick from the rest of the laterns. Its small and compact which is best suited for carrying to different places. My favorite thing about this lantern is the ability to switch between warm white and cold white temperatures which is a cool feature to have
Yeah tint ramping is a fantastic feature! As far as I know Nocitgon/Emisar are the only other brands that offer that feature in a flashlight. Thanks for watching Asher!

Thank you for the review. The BFL LT1 I think is the best option for general use and car camping applications. Bright enough to light up larger rooms or average camp sites. Also, nice and portable to dim for smaller rooms or tent setups.
Yeah totally is great for those situations! Nice to have as a backup in case of blackouts too! Just wouldn't want to have to carry it for too long. Thanks for watching Christopher!
Yeah honestly I was shocked at just how good the red mode is... I've had a few different lanterns with red lights from LEDLENSER and Streamlight and they don't come close in terms of red mode outputs. Thanks for watching and good luck HRGB!
Great comparison, thanks! I am torn between the sofirn lights but would probably have to pick two: LT1 for home/when size matters and perhaps Mini for portability but still some elevation from ground.
I bought an LT1 recently based on your last review and I absolutely love it. The simple mode is intuitive to me and the advanced mode is great. Love candle mode. I set the brightness to something I found comfortable in my living room and tried to find out how long it would last. After four days of constant use I turned the brightness up a bit. I gave up a week later. It's going to last long enough for you to stumble into some kind of charging source. Tremendous.
The Sofirn BLF LT1 and the Streamlight Siege X are my 2 favorite lanterns. The Sofirn is the brightest lantern that I'm aware so I prefer it for that. The Siege X is very small and light while providing up to 350 lumens. They also both use 18650 batteries, which I have a lot of. I'd rather not have devices that use too many different battery types.
I think the best that suits my needs would be the BLF LT1. I like that it sits tall on the table to spread the light out further to read. It would be more of a stationary light source for my purpose but still could be carried around if needed.
I love the LT1S so much I bought a second one but there doesn’t seem to be any adapter or after market way of mounting it on a tripod, which for me is a shame because it really delivers a warm ambience that lends itself to classic floor lamp interior lighting, I hope they come up with something, I also love the fact that it accepts my vaping batteries and I don’t have to stick little magnets on them to make them “button tops”
BLF LT1 is my favorite by far - big, sturdy, and lasts the longest. My wife will probably hate the UI though, she likes the simpler interfaces better 😅
Haha yeah I can defintely see how the UI would be frustrating for more causal users... I find myself pulling up the UI chart from time to time as a refresher lol
Thanks US. I have a Xeigu lantern and it works for me just fine. I got it in a kit with the X6100 radio during the holidays sales last year. But thank you for this review! I also like the Nitecore LR60 for its features and magnetic base!
Interesting never seen their lanterns before! Seems like a nice addition to the radio! Yeah the LR60 is much more lightweight and portable compared to the BLF LT1
Im a big Nitecore fan but the LT1S 💯 with the red light is awesome and easier on the eyes also ppl don't consider when they use powerful white lights they attract to many flying insects especially outdoors as for runtimes just purchase a spare battery or 2 simple
BFL LT1 is the best option for me, the selling point for me was the runtime so my pick and my favorite one is BFL LT1. as we go out camping for days this one suits me the best.
Bought 4 blf lt1 I think its the superior one. Long turn times for shtf and blackouts, also ordered a blackout ammo can like you have, good taste my dude.
Another great review my fav is BLF LT1 also as it looks prefect for what i would use it for camping and around the house incase the lights go out good luck to all
Another great comparison! I like the BLF LT1 the best due to the additional runtime despite the increase of weight. For camping the extra weight is well worth it!
Lt1 mini looks far better. I hate quad battery flashlights. I don't understand why they didn't use a single 26650 battery instead of 4 16650. You barely achieve more runtime. While making it much heavier and more unreliable. Lt1s also looks great when compared lt1. Quad would only be a good option for AA batteries.
BLF LT1 is the winner for me. Run time is top for lanterns. If some of the non Sofirns had better moonlight modes it may have swayed me as they have some cool features
thanks for the great video. I've been meaning to buy lt1s for a long time. it has a red light, which is important for me, a more pleasant shade of white light, unlike the lh351d emitters, and relatively small dimensions.
Yeah they really crammed a lot of emitters into that small body! The red very strong too which really impressed me. Thanks for watching and good luck Ярко!
I am also for BLF LT1, because of long running time. But isnt problem with overheating of batteries, when there is light source So close to batteries? (Nitecore, LT1S,...). Does anyone have an experience with diffuser adapters for normal flashlights?
Yeah they do get hot on turbo but they typically ramp down to lower output levels to prevent them from overheating. I don't think you would run into any significant issues here. I don't have much experience with diffusers but I believe Nitecore sells some that are compatible with a few of their lights and occasionally Lumintop will include them with certain models...
It's great you included lanterns that can b e powered by AA batteries. Can't rely solely on rechargeable "...just in-case". though, people watching your videos are likely casul "flashlight-aholoics" or "enthusiasts" and should have enough working flashlgihts ready at all times. Never owned a hi-perf lantgern...I like the Olight onest haat actually do look like the traditional metal body lanterns. ..probably called an "OLantern" :))
Yeah honestly I was shocked at just how good the red mode is... I've had a few different lanterns with red lights from LEDLENSER and Streamlight and they don't come close in terms of red mode outputs. Thanks for watching and good luck Tom!
Technically the lumintop has the highest output but it is brief. The LT1 will be able to sustain the highest outputs for the longest period of time. It appears less bright with the warm color temp but you can switch to cool light which will appear brighter.
I'm surprised the CL2 doesn't get that much exposure... Its really nice. It is more expensive, especially with their usb-c 14500 batteries... It would be nice if they sold it with a different brand of batteries lol
BLF LT1 is what I would pick. No matter what a lantern wont be pocketable so size isnt a issue for the most part. I like that it sits taller and has longer run times.
Yeah as long as you don't have to hike with it or carry it around for too long the size/weight of the BLF LT1 is no issuse! Thanks for watching Vincent!
Sofirn products are staying strong theirs ground. The BLF LT1 is obviously te best, but the other two models are also great. The Lumintop is interesting because it runs on AA batteries. For the money and considering the size, the ledlenser isn't too bad either.
Fair enough! Yeah sofirn has crushed it with their lantern lineup! I am hoping they continue to expand the line! Would love to see one running on 4x21700s lol
Sofirn rules the category. Greatlt enjoying the LT1 and LT1 Mini! I will wait on the LT1S Pro version to pull the trigger on a third lantern, as I see Anduril 2 as a need.

As I dive unnecessarily deeper to the world of flashlights, I'm sure lanterns will be an interest as well 🤭🤭 Maybe when I live in a place of my own Still enjoyed the lost as always
haha yeah I've probably got close to half a million lumens sitting around in my garage amongst all the lights lol... There are less options out there for lanterns but they do compliment flashlights quite well, especially if you want to be able to move about and do things with your hands free lol.
The Sofirn LT1S is what i would pick from the rest of the laterns. Its small and compact which is best suited for carrying to different places. My favorite thing about this lantern is the ability to switch between warm white and cold white temperatures which is a cool feature to have

Да, теплый и холодный это хорошо, но у 1s 6500, мне кажется слишком холодным. Если бы было 5000к. Сам думаю какой купить lt1 & lt1s?
Thank you for the review. The BFL LT1 I think is the best option for general use and car camping applications. Bright enough to light up larger rooms or average camp sites. Also, nice and portable to dim for smaller rooms or tent setups.
Yeah totally is great for those situations! Nice to have as a backup in case of blackouts too! Just wouldn't want to have to carry it for too long. Thanks for watching Christopher!
But the BGL LT1 uses 18650s.
With 21700 batteries - you get twice the runtime per battery while only 10% larger.
The Sofirn LT1S is the perfect size for a camping table and the tint ramp is amazing.
The performance is great for a single 21700! Its significantly more lightweight compared to the LT1.
Great video! I love the improvements that were bade to the LT1S compared to the original. The red LEDs and directional lighting are huge!
Yeah honestly I was shocked at just how good the red mode is... I've had a few different lanterns with red lights from LEDLENSER and Streamlight and they don't come close in terms of red mode outputs. Thanks for watching and good luck HRGB!
Gotta be the BLF LT1 for me! I love Sofrin products and this seems like the best option for camping IMO
Yeah the LT1 is really impressive! Would be great for camping, just wouldn't want to have to hike with it lol
Great comparison, thanks!
I am torn between the sofirn lights but would probably have to pick two: LT1 for home/when size matters and perhaps Mini for portability but still some elevation from ground.
I have the LT1S, and I'm thinking of picking up one or both of the other Sofirns. I've been very pleased by that company's products.
I bought an LT1 recently based on your last review and I absolutely love it. The simple mode is intuitive to me and the advanced mode is great. Love candle mode.

The LT1S looks like a great little lantern. So many features and so compact.
Sofirn has a fantastic lineup of lanterns... red modes are really impressive on the LT1S too.
I think the best that suits my needs would be the BLF LT1. I like that it sits tall on the table to spread the light out further to read. It would be more of a stationary light source for my purpose but still could be carried around if needed.
Yeah if you dont mind a relatively heavy lantern it is fantastic! Just wouldnt want to have to take it on a hike lol

Wow the BLF LT1 is impressive with the run time. Its perfect for a weekend camping trip or emergency use like earthquakes
I really like the Nitecore. I like it because of all the different battery options and run times.
Yeah the LR60 does really give you a lot of flexibility! Definitely my favorite of the lanterns they make. Thank you for watching!
I like the lr60 magnetic base, versatile bats including my favorite 21700. Thanks for your great reviews. Barry

Heads up guys. There are some great Prime Day deals on the Sofirn BLF LT1 and the mini currently. The LT1 comes with a carrying case as well.
Thanks for the heads up on that!
I think the best one for me is the LT1S, for it's compact size and weight. Thank you for the great review! :)
Thanks for watching Mahatma!

Between the ML6 (rather than ML4) and the LT1, which would you go for if price and portability wasn’t an issue?
Great review! As the designer behind the BLF LT1 series lanterns, i give a thumbs up. - DBSAR
Great video as always!
I really like the look of the LT1S. The directional light feature is a big selling point for me.
Yeah sofirn did a great job with the LT1S! Really impressed with how great the red modes are too... Thanks for watching and good luck!
Fenix CL26R Pro vs Sofirn LT1S Pro, which one would you choose?
I am looking for a lantern with more than 25 hours at full power can you help me to choose the best one
BFL LT1 is the best option for me, the selling point for me was the runtime so my pick and my favorite one is BFL LT1. as we go out camping for days this one suits me the best.
The runtime specs are fantastic on the LT1! Should definitely last you for many days of use!
My go to is the blf lt1 due to the runtime and Anduril UI...I also have a 3D printed diffuser/shade that is very useful.
Thats awesome! Where did you get the diffuser?
@@UrbanSurvivor from Thingiverse.

I like the BLF LT1 most because it's widely regarded as one of the best. Thank you.
Fantastic choice Kelly! Thanks so much for watching and good luck!
I'm deciding between the LT1 mini and the LR60. Kinda leaning towards the Nitecore though.
Another great review my fav is BLF LT1 also as it looks prefect for what i would use it for camping and around the house incase the lights go out good luck to all

Sofirn BLF LT1 Camping Lantern seems a good choice for camping and for power outages 😁
Yeah the LT1 would be perfect for those situations! Thanks for watching Siiva!
LT1 hands down. The runtime is the name of the game when talking about portable light.
The runtime specs are fantastic on the LT1! Should definitely last you for many days of use! Thanks for watching Ian!
You can take 4 batteries with any other flashlight and replace it for 10 sec.
What are your thoughts on fenix cl26r pro ? Do you recommend getting it, say against sofirn lt1s ?
sofirn lt1 is the best one and have ucb c with 4 battery and good price
All about runtime for me, so I'd rock the blf lt1
Great choice! Yeah you are going to have a really hard time finding anything that can outrun the LT1! Thanks for watching JK!
BLF LT1 is the winner for me. Run time is top for lanterns. If some of the non Sofirns had better moonlight modes it may have swayed me as they have some cool features
Blf LT1 is definitely worth having. I also like this lumintop, mostly because different power sources are always great option.
Yeah for the price the sofirn lanterns really do offer insane performance... Thanks for watching and good luck Brandon!
You missed a few features on the LR60.
thanks for the great video. I've been meaning to buy lt1s for a long time. it has a red light, which is important for me, a more pleasant shade of white light, unlike the lh351d emitters, and relatively small dimensions.

A lantern light with magnet? Now that lr60 is seductive. Get it? Magnetic xD

BLF LT1 is the one we like and have used for several hikes.
Yeah its a fantastic lantern! Bit heavy for hikes though unless they are short lol!
LT1S wins just for the wall of red for me. The size, powerbank and tint ramp are just bonuses.
Yeah honestly I was shocked at just how good the red mode is... I've had a few different lanterns with red lights from LEDLENSER and Streamlight and they don't come close in terms of red mode outputs. Thanks for watching and good luck Tom!
As always awesome video US, the ML4 looks sweet for a minimalist lantern.
I think so too! Surprised its not getting as much love in the comments. Its perfect for an EDC lantern.
It seems to me that Nitecore LR60 is the brightest of them?
Technically the lumintop has the highest output but it is brief. The LT1 will be able to sustain the highest outputs for the longest period of time. It appears less bright with the warm color temp but you can switch to cool light which will appear brighter.
