Your a fantastic guide and historian. I wish you all the best in Louisiana. Franklin is a very special place for my wife and I when we drive up from Huntsville. As an amateur CW buff for 45 years that has visited a lot of CW battlefields over the years you are among the best. Thank you for making Franklin an even better place!!
Joseph, God Bless! I have got to get to Franklin (from Murfreesboro) and get a Campaign Tour before you go! Thanks for your candidness and knowledge that has made BOFT a better organization! Enjoy the Journey and the next chapter on it!
I just wanted to say goodbye to Joseph. I;ve enjoyed all your videos on this channel especially Chalkboard. Good luck in Louisianne. You've made a difference in Tennessee and have taught me many things about history and the battle of Franklin. Take care and good luck.
Many thanks for all your insights and gifts, Joseph- best of luck to you and the family in the next chapters of life. Both of you are genuine true gems who helped so many of us honor the fascinating nuances of history in general and the tragic aspects of the battle of Franklin in particular. History matters. Thanks again and God bless.
Joseph best of luck to you and your family back home you will be missed. I was lucky enough to partake in one of your superb tours at Rippavilla and your knowledge of not only what occurred there but its overall influence on the Civil War, it's outcome as well as its impact on the civilian population and our nation was truly noted in your tour. Thanks again.
Joey conducted a wonderful tour for just me and my husband in the rain a couple of years ago. It was excellent and something we will never forget. Best wishes to you Joey. Thank you for your contributions to the Battle of Franklin Trust.
Joey, I remember when you were first hired and about to come to Tennessee. You messaged me on instagram and asked me a few questions about working at BOFT and I thought man, this dude is invested in making an impact here and I love it. I didn’t know you then and I could have never guessed that you would come to Franklin and be such a force. Congratulations on all of your achievements at BOFT and best of luck with all of your future efforts. You will be missed by your colleagues, but making sure that you aren’t being missed by your actual family is as worthy of a pursuit as anything else. Be safe and see you at the anniversary!
Talk about Joseph. Talk about history. Talk about laudanum. Talk about breakfast meetings and black confederates. Just don’t talk about the Pirates. All kidding aside, congratulations on new horizons, Joey. You e been a great friend and a wonderful resource for us all. This is just a “see ya later” for now as I certainly hope to cross paths often. God speed, my friend and see you on the field.
