Well done we need more of these kind of videos I swear people from outside think Sudan is a war zone and don't know it's one of the safest countries in Africa keep going👌🏽 🇸🇩. Subscribed I'm from Kasala (Ben Amer tribe) which means the people of Amer.
ABIR Cool video Abir. I’m surprised though you’re from beni 3amir and from kasala, yet when the Rashaida boys said “[we’re of] beni 3abs” you thought it was a place 🙈
Apparently, most North Sudanese have no idea about Sudan ( in terms of its vastness, diversity and rich history). And no wonder most of them couldn't get it when we (South) opposed the definition of Sudan as "Islamic and Arabic" (coz... there are obviously billions of parameters to measure Sudan - not just Arabism and Islam). I'm from South... never been to North but I can almost tell you everything you need to know about whatever part of Sudan. I'm a typical Dinka...Tall, slim and Sudani dark but I still do find myself having to proof to some North Sudanese that I'm not Ugandan or Kenyan and have no relationship whatsoever with them. Dinka is indigenous and Endemic to Sudan...you can't find us elsewhere!
Manelson 211 I agree with your comment. I would even go as far as to say it’s not just north sudanese but most east Africans have very little knowledge about their neighboring countries. I have lived and traveled to nearly all EA countries and I was amazed by how little others know about Sudan and I constantly have to prove that I am not Ethiopian or Zanzibari or Indian or whatever. This identity is further convoluted among Africans living in the diaspora. We as Sudanese (North & South) must do better to promote our diverse, rich and unique cultures and traditions to educate and eliminate misconceptions. 🌹
ABIR ... Haha. You are right about that ( The fact that the rest of East Africa is ignorant about Sudan). A regular Kenyan or Ugandan don't know about a typical North Sudanese. To them, a Sudanese is defined by a tall and dark looking person (someone looking like me basically- which is gross really) because that's what they see in their neighborhood every time. This is partly because North Sudanese don't integrate with the rest of East Africa and vice versa. And btw, there are some parts of Sudan where u will have to convince them that you are actually Sudaniya... haha ... Anyways.... I love how this new generation Sudanese musicians and RUclipsrs like you, are creating awareness about the unexplored Diversity of Sudan. If you watch Late Dr. John Garang speeches, you'll start to understand and see Sudan in a different perspective. You'll relate to most of the issues and concerns that he used to raise. Lastly, there's a myth that we hate North. This is not true...but we obviously don't like all the successive regimes since 1956. We opted for "Two Sudans" bcoz the conditions for "New Sudan" were rejected (by the regime- not the citizens)...and not because we hate Northerners. Trust me, if you come down to Juba you won't feel any different...the culture, food and general attitude is relatively the same. The only difference is that our Arabic is slightly unique 😂😂😂😂....and maybe you'll need a visa for the sake of formalities at the immigration....😂😂 otherwise u won't feel like a foreigner at all!
If you go to southern part of africa, you will find mulato(mixed race people between black and white) or white people in south africa namibia and zimbawean or just like skin all over Africa sometime with green , blues eyes. You definitely provoked in me the will to pay a visit to this country. The mango and guava episode made me so nostalgic about my childhood, walking around my grandparents' yard and trying to get some fruits (especially mangoes and guavas 😁) . Keep up the good work !

@@Mina-wn5ip Hey, Bin Amir/ Tigres are not Habesh. They are completely different culture.
Are you dumb or uneducated. The women have nothing to do with Habesh people. They are their own ethnic group. and not all Eritreans are Habesh.
@@teddyissak2720 first of all Eritrea its not just "habesha" Culture, even though we don't call ourselves habesha! 2nd Tigre/Beni Amer are Eritrean like Tigrinya/kebessa, Without them there is no nation called Eritrea 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ don't talk about Eritrea if you don't know our Nation, culture and history!!!
@@moreno8383 When did I say they are not Eritreans ? Lmao Did you even know the meaning of term Habesh ? Habesha means Abbysinain or Ethiopian. So you are basically saying that you are Abbysinains or part of Abbysinia which doesn't exist right now. Learn History before you criticize some one else.

What a wonderful vlog abir ! Thank you for sharing all these adventures with us. I didn't know all of that about Sudan ( the medias don't show this unfortunately ) , it's just so mixed, so rich ! You definitely provoked in me the will to pay a visit to this country. The mango and guava episode made me so nostalgic about my childhood, walking around my grandparents' yard and trying to get some fruits (especially mangoes and guavas 😁) . Keep up the good work !

I think your videos are fantastic Abir. It would be helpful if you could show a map of the area that you travel or show place names. Have you considered crowdfunding for specific projects?
Nathan & Sopa thank you! i’ve facilitated various community-based projects in East Africa. This month I am working with UNICEF to rehabilitate an all girls school in Sudan. tinylink.in/EmpowerGirls
التهجين و الاختلاط يا اخوان ماعندنا مشكلة معاكم
ونتمنى يتحسن ظروف البلد عندكم ♥️🌹🇸🇦
Keep it up Abir ! As you said there are many positive aspects in Sudan that need to be highlighted, I am amazed by the peaceful coexistence between all these ethnic groups . People in Sudan have a great level of tolerance , however, political elites have not make use of this point but encouraged tribalism !
i don t know there are 600 different cultures ethnic groups Caught my attention tribe of Bani Abbas good report
