  • It seems like lambing took forever, but also that it was over in a flash and then we were vaccinating lambs and getting everybody out of the barn!! A big milestone each year!

Thank you so much! Looking back, this was a tough time migraine-wise, but it's just something that I manage. I'm happy to report that I've been feeling much better 😊

Not quite sure where you are, but I know the Rip van Winkle bridge was near our route from summer camp on a dairy farm near Coxsackie. Beautiful land. I follow Sandi and Tara, so here I am, retired in Mexico , Baja California. 3 years since I left NY. I'm disabled and collecting rescue pets. Thank you for the beauitiful Hudson valley. I love Catskill, and Woodstock!!

Hello! Thank you for watching! I hope I am half as entertaining as Sandi or Tara! The farm name came with us from our old farm which was in the Catskill watershed. The origin is kind of a funny story, at first we rented the old farm because I wasn't sure how Chris was going to fare in such a rural setting. There was a weather beaten sign in front that we thought said Rip Van Winkle farm so we started calling it that. YEARS later we found out that it actually said Ramshackle Farm, but by then the name had stuck! Rescue pets in Baja California sounds like a fantastic retirement plan, thank you again!
