Time for the lambs to be weaned from their Mothers | weaning our Texel x lambs

Come along with Gran, Dad, Ally, Samuel and I to wean our lambs.
Weaning is an important job allowing for the recovery of the ewes after months of lactation. It also allows for the lambs to no longer compete against the elder sheep for grass and feed, and allows for us to move them to fresh grass land with lower worm burdens.

There’s no explanation for leaving them on the mom to drain her an so lambs bite nipples also some say wean at 6weeks but I would say about 8-9 weeks

1:58 good explanation but why would you leave the lambs on them so long you know how pathetic that looks to have a lamb that big getting milk also the milk only going to get so big an grass and creepfeed will make them grow twice as fast
