all the mst algorithms are easy to do it by hand, but coding it up, with all the best practices for time complexity, is never easy
they might have went complex way in MIT because MSTs and Shortest path algorithms should NEVER be poorly implemented in real life
@@SuperMatchaLatte True, but a good professor can still explain anything in a simple way, no matter how complex the subject. For example the youtube videos on Neural Networks by 3Blue1Brown cover incredibly complicated material that professors like this would make seem unintelligible.

This teaching is better than all professors who waste time, and nobody doesn't learn a subject that can learn in 5 minutes. In universities, they waste around 30 minutes on this easy subject, and the result is nothing!
