BUILD AND REVIEW OF 643 Mobile Crane 6678 Pneumatic Crane 6658 bulldozer and 6532 Diesel dumper!

Today not 1, but 4 sets in this new video.
I've recently found quite a few smaller townsets and with some I found a common theme or similaritiy in the parts.
So I thought it would be interesting to bundle some similar sets in 1 video.
With these four sets it seems quite clear to me that it concerns the subtheme construction.
However in one of the 4 sets, the subtheme is vehicles, simply because the subtheme construction did not yet exist.
The production dates range from 1971 to 1991, it's definitely also interesting to look at it from a historical point of view.

I had the two last ones, and I played sooo much whit them!!
BTW: you put the arm for the excavator upside down, you would be able to 'operate' it up and down with a finger or two from upside.

Like construction theme, always adds a lot of playability to your town. I have set 6535, dump truck which very close to 6532. Also, from this theme I have set 6581, nice set with big truck and mini-excavator.

I think the term front-end loader would be a better description for the set 6658.

The metal winch handle is interesting, guess Lego went away from metal axles and handles later due to added cost. The correct construction term for the 3rd vehicle (6658) is loader (as the bucket is used to load dump trucks). Bulldozers have the tank like treads and just a flat blade with no teeth (meant for just pushing stuff around). An excavator is more similar to the 2nd set with the multi jointed arm except instead of the claw bucket it has a small backward facing version of what's on the loader (meant for digging aka excavating ground). There is also a version of the loader that has an additional arm on the back that's similar to the excavator which that is then called a backhoe loader. I have set 6481 (Construction Crew) which includes a vehicle very similar to 6658.
