Nice list. Never even heard of # 6. I’ll have to keep my eye out for that. I’d add Old Forester 1920 and Larceny BP to the list, especially the A124. Cheers.
It is another great video. love most choices. not much of a Bookers fan, but I will pick one up when a friend tells me it's worth it. love the idea. cheers
Another to try is the Glenn's Creek bourbons. Made at the Old Crow distillery about 5 miles south of Frankfort, Kentucky. Especially the OCD #5, they got yeast spores from the Old Crow Distillery Fermentation Tank #5 abandoned in the early 1980s, to add to their new stainless steel fermentation tanks and new pot stills.
Great video. Another bottle I would add to this list is Frey Ranch Farm Cut. It's a bold 4-grain with a good mouth feel and a strong cinnamon note starting mid-palate, and it has a long finish.
Pretty good list. One other that I enjoy very much and would fit in well with this list, is the Still Austin cask strength. $48 at my Total Wine store and it is a flavor BOMB and not too hot at 115prf. I enjoy all of these except the Green River. For some reason my taste buds do not play well with it. Cheers!
I don't think I'd put the RR on this list but maybe that's attributable to the barrels I've had. My bottle of KC is old enough to still have the big 9 on the label; it definitely belongs. And along with a couple others I'd place the JD well ahead of several of these picks but that's my taste.
I’m a huge LBP fan. I’ve got an Old Forester SB I need to open but I tend to love their products. I have highlighted both brands so much on the channel wanted to mix it up a bit. Cheers!
You think Bookers has better batches worth hunting than say a consistent lower priced Noah's Mill with its nutty, cherry cola, vanilla brown sugar, fig, prune, tobacco with burnt carmel or toffee cinnamon finish? 🥃
I haven't seen any Elijah Craig Barrel Proof releases, regular or store picks, at anything less than $90 to $100 or more in the last two years. Just saying......
Great list but I would easily replace bookers with JDSBBP everyday and twice on Sunday!
Ya got to include Jack Daniel's Barrel Proof in this list

Excellent list. Can't agree more on the knob creek. Great pour.
I have the two bottles on the viewers' left...good stuff!

I just poured a 1792 Full Proof right before I started this video. Spicy and sweet night cap!
I really enjoy the Green River. It's such a great value in addition to being tasty.

Solid choices. I enjoy all of these

Great list. I also turn to Old Forester full proof single barrel and Stagg for a bold sip.
Great list, thank you
Now my friend this is a list I can get behind. Some whiskey is just meant to share with certain folks at a special time.
I have 5 of those 6. I haven’t seen any Smoke Wagons here in Michigan.
Great list! Which smoke wagon batch was that? I absolutely love mine - 169A.
Try New Riff SB. All different and all great flavor.
I haven't heard of Knob Creek single barrel going below 9 years. 🤔

Stagg, any batch.
Great list but I think the JD SB BS is better than the Bookers and much cheaper
I know a lot of people like Smoke Wagon, but it doesn’t do it for me. How about the Larceny BP’s or Old Forester SB?

Good deals online and combo pricing gets you around $80-85 but you can get the Elijah Craig toasted for $50
