I love this van! A toilet and a shower that I might actually be able to use. 😄I've always wondered why so many vans have big elaborate kitchens when there are public picnic tables, grills, fire pits, etc everywhere and how much are you going to cook anyway. I usually don't use more than one burner and the microwave at home so why would I cook more elaborate meals on the road?? The one thing that is limited in public areas is open, available and clean bathrooms so that's what every van should have (especially for women who cannot just pee in a bottle)! I also love the twin coach/bed set-up so you can just use those as your beds instead of having to set it up every night and you can still get up to the front or to the bathroom even if the other person is sleeping. Pretty much my dream set-up!
You two are spending so much fun goofing off your not showing this RV well. I wish I could have a really good tour and less playing around especially since I’m looking to buy one. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.
dry bath is an absolute game changer and I have been wondering for years why others don't do it with this floorplan. they do a wet bath with a "closet".
Congratulations Hank. You do an excellent job, the only problem I have is that you don't always allow folks to complete what they're saying before you interject.
I like the idea of rear entry to save space and definitely like the bathroom. The technology has come up this year. The microwave and fridge are welcome upgrades.
Coach House in Florida has had a Class B on the Mercedes van chais for lots of years with a dry bath in B class van. The still offer it today, called Arriva. More expensive than a Ford chasis but none the less a very nice van. Thanks
Excellent job, guys. High marks on the smaller kitchen and bigger bathroom. Would love a twin drop-down bed to allow for three to sleep in it and windows that open. Overall , it is a great floor plan. I
FWW FLA 0 seconds ago I appreciate and am grateful for the RUclipsrs that do these videos. Here is one thing I do not understand, why to the vast majority of these reviews always start with the outside of the RV? For me, if I do not like the interior I don't care about the exterior. It is mute.
I like this transit Ford van... nice!!! I like the bathroom being separate from the shower.. Definitely different .. good marketing!!!👍 Would be nice if they had seat belts to bring family ..friends along for a day trip ! Thank you both for sharing ..over all very nice !!! 👍🤗😊😁
Since the generator is under the coach, how and what is the easy way to change the oil and do the maintence? Most owners will not be able to manage it.
@StrangerPalooza Hi Hank & Nick, I've been watching your videos for some time & enjoy your casual informative banter! When I was in "high" school in 1973 my daily (only Driver) was a 1972 Ford Econoline. I have fond memories of many escapades in that van including sleeping in it at Porkupin MT. in the UP of Michigan in 25 degrees below zero with NO heat but LOTS of sleeping bags & quilts brrrr! Dads were not excited when I came to pick up their daughters for dates with a van. Since that van, I had two more (all Fords) & really enjoyed them. Currently, I converted a 2021 Prius my only driver into a traveling camper. I'd love to drive up to Ocala at one of your events...maybe the February RV Show, is there a place to car camp? All the best!
I’m loving all the intricate details and the look at the roof and underneath! Great to hear about what Sunshine State RV offers to a customer such as delivery!
Team work 💪 glad to see no cameras were hurt in the making of this video. 👍😱 I like that it has redundancy built in. Generator, solar and when it has( gas/lp. )
No Sir... can't damage the money maker...Lol 🤣😂 Yes I agree, I'm a fan of that set up. I upgraded our coachmen beyond from AGM battery to Lithium and kept the generator and propane. That to me is the best combo. If not that then I would want at least 1000-2000 amp hours of lithium in "all electric" configuration.
So glad to see Chinook back. Way back when I rented a Chinook unit with the Toyota truck 🚚. My family and I had a blast touring California and Oregon while I took a 30-day leave from the Air Force. The quality of the interior was awesome and my family of five ate and slept well. Now I am a solo nomad. That bed set up would be too much wasted space. I would maintain the seating on the passenger side and install storage cabinets on the driver's side. (Just thinking out loud). Wow, looks like I will be traveling to Ocala in March. I have a nephew in Lakeside. You and Nick provided much laughter as the humor and "digs" entertained us.
I'm a mobile massage therapist, and I've been looking for something like this to convert one of the beds to a massage bed, but the other unit's bathroom was just too small for a client to wash the sugar scrub off. I don't think I will be cooking in it, but I do provide adult beverages for my clients so I appreciate the larger refrigerator.
I love the separare shower and toilet and the well known Chinook winter/heat protection. Do you have a Chinook on a Sprinter chassis with a Mercedes diesel engine?
I gave up trying to watch thisvideo. Too much male bonding, sidetracked jokes and short stories about F all. We don't care what you eat or drink, just get on with showing the details of this van. I am taking my money over to Airstream. Please hire someone to film a professional video.
We are not a big fan of the “wet bath” where you shower on top of the toilet. We’ve seen one class B van design that has a swivel shower wall that covers the toilet and sink when you shower. Then you swivel back to use the sink and toilet. Very smart design!!!! We wish more class B vans would adopt this shower/toilet design. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I don't like the seats, or leather in general. The van is okay, but I see things that could be different to make for a better traveling experience. There should be choices in color and materials. This one is great for a man. I love the bathroom! It is large enough for a big person to use and not be cramped. I would get rid of half of the couch section for a closet though.
I love everything about this Chinook model but I do have one question? Where is the sink to wash your hands after you use the toilet?? Do you have to walk to the front of the RV to wash hands and brush your teeth?
I agree with you 💯 we have a bathroom sink and a kitchen sink and I’m totally happy with that. I didn’t want to have use the kitchen sink for bathroom use. A simple drop down in the shower would be great.
❤❤❤ I would love some Matt’s Cash or Beck Bucks to purchase a Class B out here in California. I love the 4 seater (Captains chairs). I’m a Disabled Veteran, still battling Cancer but I want to start living and giving my 3 small kids a life they deserve. I got my little ones all excited by about joining the RV community, but now as we’ve been searching around Cali, they are super expensive. I tell the RV dealerships that Matt says I deserve the Best a price in America 🤗. Thank you for all you do. I love your videos.
I saw a build where they were able to tuck in the toilet into its own little cabinet and have full access to the shower when not in use. Plus the cabinet had access to the outside so it was really easy to clean out the toilet. I think it was an ingenious idea
Do you deliver in Hawai'i? Same floor plan with the exception of shorting the chair on the sink side to add more counter space & maybe 3,4 inch wider on the shower? Everything else is perfect. I love the icebox & where it's at, the set up or floor plan is perfect.
Do they make a version of this van with a pop-top, or one that can support a rooftop tent along with the solar and AC unit up top? I basically need something like this, or a 5900KL, but with a second sleeping area up top. So difficult to find, it seems....
Not sure about getting an E bike in and out.. They typically weigh 75 lbs.. You could do it but I would suggest you be agile in getting around it going to the bathroom and back 😂
Congratulations 🍾 Hank and Nick love your videos. New subscriber . I’m torn now, was thinking about an Airstream 19. Now I’m on the fence. I hope you have another event planned. I will be there!
Sorry, but LTV leaves this in the dust. New ones aren’t readily available but there are really nice used ones to be had. And you don’t have to sacrifice anything. Dry bath, ample kitchen/pantry, Murphy bed that disappears during the day for more room. American RV manufacturers could learn a lot from them and the European manufacturers like Wingamm, who will be coming to the US the end of this year & next.
This one had potential. I really love the interior colors but I wish the back bathroom area had a small sink. I love the larger refrigerator with separate freezer and the convection microwave but the cooking and sink area could’ve been better but with the windows not being able to open, has me thinking that I’ll pass on this.
There appears to be space behind the bath wish you had shown it!! Possible to hand skis or other equipment. Not sure Chinook should be happy with this review??

The ladder sticking out a side rather than the back would be a magnet hitting something
I thought the same thing.
YES! Love the twin beds in a van option, and the minimal size kitchen. Chinook leading the game again!
You two are spending so much fun goofing off your not showing this RV well. I wish I could have a really good tour and less playing around especially since I’m looking to buy one. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.
I got tired of listening to these two, wish they had focused on a serious tour!
They are wearing me out. I have to give it up.
dry bath is an absolute game changer and I have been wondering for years why others don't do it with this floorplan. they do a wet bath with a "closet".
The best part is the bathroom and nice open shower.
Congratulations Hank. You do an excellent job, the only problem I have is that you don't always allow folks to complete what they're saying before you interject.
The ladder on the side would be a no go for me. Put it on the back !
the ladder moves from the back to the side to reach items. It is mounted to the rear.
I like the idea of rear entry to save space and definitely like the bathroom. The technology has come up this year. The microwave and fridge are welcome upgrades.

The twin to King is lovely! And the bathroom is worth giving up the storage. And you can close the screen and vent the toilet to the outside!😊

I love it, especially the seperate shower 🚿 great job guys, always fun! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
I need one of these!! How much? Also what about the window coverings. For the windows on the back doors. Near the bathroom?

Great van. The over talking kills though guys. I had to just ff to the parts I was interested in ‘seeing’ in order to avoid all the manly chitchat.

I love it. I love both these two guys too.
With only 8 gallon black tank wouldn’t a removable cartridge system work better similar to the Wingam?

That rig has a lot of great features. But the lack of seatbelts on the sofa benches takes it off my list.
4 season? Dual pane windows? Enclosed or heated tanks? Thanks Hank & Nick!

Great job guys, but at least give us the starting price at the end thanks!👌💯$$$
I hope their wives aren't jealous of them being each other's work spouse 😅😅😅😅😅 as always another great 1.
Very nice build. I would change the wheels and tires, upgrade the cooling system and go with the single sleeper. Thanks for sharing guys
I’m learning the Chinook van lines and deeply liking them. Blessings on Blessings❣️😍💜💜💜
Cool thanks you 😁
I love the separare shower and toilet and the well known Chinook winter/heat protection. Do you have a Chinook on a Sprinter chassis with a Mercedes diesel engine?
That solar is incompetently implemented... any shade that falls on even part of those panels will significantly degrade the output.
How about the price?
20 mpg?! Everything I’ve seen thus far on this Ford Transit is saying 12-14….maybe 16 for those with a light foot.
U talking too much about nonsense on here.
Absolutely
Nick. I think Coachhouse in Florida has a class B van with a dry bath. It is rare however.
Price
Fantastic van. Just needs a few storage bins for freedom seeds.
Definitely need a separate and sufficient freezer

This would have been a perfect layout for a cassette toilet which would have saved space and been cold weather safe.
Yuck

Beautiful RV van and you guys are fun to watch! How much does this baby cost, I’m in the market for one!
What are the dimensions of the couches (when not in king size bed mode)?
Good design! Dry and wet area divided very well. It can be better put a pantry and couple more passenger seats instead of sofa bed.
Clicking his heels! 🤣🤣🤣
Where is the bathroom sink?
Good question. Where's the bathroom sink?
Oh my god!!!
You guys are hilarious!
Spielberg and ET😆😄😆😂
Leisure Travel Vans have dry baths as well.
I love everything about this Chinook model but I do have one question? Where is the sink to wash your hands after you use the toilet?? Do you have to walk to the front of the RV to wash hands and brush your teeth?
You actually made me go back and look at this video again. Yes, you are correct ... there is only one sink and that is in the kitchen.
@@LolaStrange I love the floor plan but Chinook needs to add a small sink either in the shower or a drop down sink on the sidewall next to the toilet.
I wouldn’t like to bring fecal matter to the sink where I prepare food…IJS.
I agree with you 💯 we have a bathroom sink and a kitchen sink and I’m totally happy with that. I didn’t want to have use the kitchen sink for bathroom use. A simple drop down in the shower would be great.
@@LolaStrange Thanks for your reply. You and your husband provide great insight on RVs and the RV industry. Keep up the great work.👊🏾
Great video you guys are top notch does this transit have a bathroom sink or mirror
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this one. There is only one sink and that is the one located in the kitchen. I do not recall seeing a mirror.
What are the dimensions of the twin beds? Can't find that on the Chinook site.
Here’s the answer I got from Seth : “the Twin Beds are 25" x 72" and makes into a 68" x 72" wall to wall bed”
I enjoy your guys! Thanks for the fun!❤
One single large tank for Black & Gray would be ideal. Extend the time between dumping.
What are the dimensions of shower
Leisure Vans out of Canada does several dry bath configurations.
