I tuned in to this video to have ideas on a new language to learn only to see my native tongue the first on the list. Then came the one I studied in college. Later came the Indonesian course which I have finished and occasionally logging on for daily practice of the same sentences over and over again.

as latin student at school, duolingo’s latin is partially wrong as it puts words and verbs in random order and doesn’t teach you declination

I’m learning Dutch and it’s amazing how similar some words are/ sound to English. Plus, there’s a bunch of fun phases in it, too!
As a person who is learning Japanese (on pause) on Duolingo I see this as an absolute win.
