dapat mag needle muna before mag stamp, para walang hangin and pantay yung kape hanggang pinaka ilalim before mag stamp but overall good job kasi na discuss naman ng maayos ang calibration

Started ng no pressure yung gauge at finally after 5-8 tries nagkapressure na 9-10 😅 Nakakataba ng puso! All worthit haha! Kada palit pala ng beans so di muna ako magpapalit. is there any tamper that you can recommend wherein you can automatically set the tamping pressure? Tingin ko dyan kasi ako sumasablay. May times na nakukuha ko yung 9-10 bars and 1:2 ratio. Pero may times din na 6psi lang then minsan naman sobrang dami ng yield. 😞 Same grind size, same amount of beans... BTW, also using Gemilai. Thank you in advance!
Although may training kami sa Training Center, ito yung part na hindi masyadong hindi naklaro na turo sa amin kasi ang calibration pala ay ganito. Basta ang sinabi sa amin na calibration is pagta-try ng machine ng paulit ulit. Mas madali siya magawa sa Semi-Automatic unlike dito sa Automatic kasi may customization ang Semi compared sa Automatic. Nung una nagawa ko siya without tamping and mas maganda ang gawa niya compared sa mismong ginawa ko na testing kahapon. Which is weird. Baka siguro kailangan ko i-adjust sa Grind Size and Grind Amount with the Tamping. Complicated siya pero once na nakuha mo yung timpla, malalaman mo na kung papaano siya gawin in such a short notice.

And 17g of coffee beans/grinds is yan po ba ung Ideal or exact amount for espresso? Wether single or double shot? And 30ml po ba ang exact amount of espresso after extraction? sir louise, newbie in using espresso machine. bought the unit upon reco ng kakilala and learning about this video, nakabili nako ng lahat ng mga accessories indicated pero when i tried last night & twice today, hindi gumagalaw yung pressure. same procedure naman yung ginawa ko:( paubos na po yung 1/2 kl beans ko pero wala pa rin:(:( what could be the reason po kaya? Watching your videos repeatedly, still learning how to use gemilai 3605. Im using Robusta coffee beans. Been practicing using the 2 spout portafilter and adjusting the grind size, dose and tamping but still not getting the mousetail drip and the good pressure (always below 5). Hope someone can help the correct combinations.😞

Hi Louise. Kung I compare ng features, ano meron kai Gemilai 3605 vs ung Gaggia Viva Deluxe or Delonghi 35.31? Na mention mo sa ibang comment na advantage nung 2 is may service na makuha dito sa pinas. Ung gemilai walang service center.
kung features naman, advantage pa din si gemilai. 1. non pressurized porta 58mm ( no need na bumili) 2. prebrewing/preinfusiin feature (which help to lessen the channeling and to produce good espresso) 3.pressure gauge 4. built in timer 5. hot water button 6. backflush feature

Naadjust naman po extraction time setting nitong machine..pero kung yung extraction ng espresso. Iba iba po tlga sya kaya may range po tlga ang extraction time example 20-30sec. Kasi hindi naman fix po lahat ng factors. Pero kunh ang tinutukoy nyo na setting ay sa machine mismo, yup naadjust po time setting ng machine
Coffee experts, including flair baristas say, that tamping can only go so far. Just tamp until you feel the puck springs back at you, it's not that complicated. Grind size po ang laging i-adjust. And baka hindi evenly distributed ang coffee niyo kaya may channeling.
Yes, pero base din sa experience ko lalo na sa mga high end machine may factors pa din ang tamping.may difference tlga ang light, normal at hard tamp pag dating sa result ng espresso.
Pareho po machine ko sayo and grinder crm3605 and 600n, baket kaya walang pressure pag nageextract ako ano bang mga factors. Dati kc 15g lng gingawa ko so naisip ko baka kulang sa kape tapos nag try ako 17g ganun pa rin. Nag try ako zero setting sa grinder, wala namn lumabas na tubig sobra fine cguro nag try ako 1.5 wala pressure same as nagtry ako 2 sa grinder wala prin pressure.
Coffee beans - freshness ng coffee from roasting date, type of roast. Dosage - dami ng grams ng beans na gamit Grind size - fine or coarse grind size. Nag try na ba kayo magback flush to check if working yu g pressuge gauge nya?
Hindi ko ma hit ang 7-9 bar pressure paubos na beans ko 😢 Ang gamit kong grinder is barrista brothers tapos 1 ang setting nya yung pinaka fine na po yun kaso halos 2-3 lang pressure tapos ang daming naeextract na coffee. Pa help po sir 🙏

Hi po. naka-15shots na po ako pero d pa rin po tumataas yung pressure, lagi lang po 4-5. ngchange na po ako to bottomless porta, change grind setting, pero same output parin po watery. please help 😢
Grind finer pa or updose or both. Kung wala tlga baka yung beans mismo problema luma na or stale. Or try back flush kung hindi tlga nataas pressure si machine problema. Kung nataas sa beans na yan or sa grinder mo na hindi makagrind ng mas pino

@@yourbaristalouise tried backflushing and its going up. The coffee beans were fresh naman po, oily pa and freshly roasted. Does it affect po kung yung tamping or distribution of the coffee is not okay? not a barista po kasi

Hello Sir. I have the Gemilai CRM3609, yung upgraded version po netong 3605. Hindi ko po ma calibrate ng tama. Hindi po kasi umaangat yung bar. I don’t have a grinder yet, but I am using Arabica dark roast fine grind na nabili ko lang. Any tips po sir paano mapaangat yung bar? Thank you in advance po sir.
Same po tayo ng machine pero Barista Brothers po yung grinder ko, ang problem ko naman po hindi umaangat yung gauge pressure nya. Super fine naman po yung beans ko and 18grams po yung pinaka beans. Pero d po makapag extract ng crema😔 baka you could help me din po.

I am using 3145, it says for double shots dapat 60ml ang espresso ko. I calibrated it, ang lumabas pressure 11, espresso 59.8ml, extraction time 36 secs, beans 15 grams. Ok lang ba ito?

May mga automatic tamper naman medyo pricey lang. Then meron naman adjustable tamper. Search lang kayo online

Adjust po sa grind size, pa fine. Magkaiba kasi tayo ng coffee beans kaya baka di pwede setting na gamit ko sa gamit mong beans

Welcome. For 18g coffee its still depend on the taste of espresso but for your guide you can use 1:2 ratio. Or try 35-45g to 25-35sec.

Grind size adjust ka pa pa fine. Or baka sa quality ng coffee beans yan di freshly roasted or luma na. Or pwede kayiag updose

I see a few of your test have change the extraction time, is there any setting for us to adjust the extraction time for this machine?
Naadjust naman po extraction time setting nitong machine..pero kung yung extraction ng espresso. Iba iba po tlga sya kaya may range po tlga ang extraction time example 20-30sec. Kasi hindi naman fix po lahat ng factors. Pero kunh ang tinutukoy nyo na setting ay sa machine mismo, yup naadjust po time setting ng machine

Grind size po ang laging i-adjust. And baka hindi evenly distributed ang coffee niyo kaya may channeling.

Pareho po machine ko sayo and grinder crm3605 and 600n, baket kaya walang pressure pag nageextract ako ano bang mga factors. Dati kc 15g lng gingawa ko so naisip ko baka kulang sa kape tapos nag try ako 17g ganun pa rin. Nag try ako zero setting sa grinder, wala namn lumabas na tubig sobra fine cguro nag try ako 1.5 wala pressure same as nagtry ako 2 sa grinder wala prin pressure.

Ang gamit kong grinder is barrista brothers tapos 1 ang setting nya yung pinaka fine na po yun kaso halos 2-3 lang pressure tapos ang daming naeextract na coffee. Pa help po sir 🙏

Grind finer pa or updose or both. Kung wala tlga baka yung beans mismo problema luma na or stale. Or try back flush kung hindi tlga nataas pressure si machine problema. Kung nataas sa beans na yan or sa grinder mo na hindi makagrind ng mas pino

@@yourbaristalouise tried backflushing and its going up. The coffee beans were fresh naman po, oily pa and freshly roasted. Does it affect po kung yung tamping or distribution of the coffee is not okay? not a barista po kasi

Hello Sir. I have the Gemilai CRM3609, yung upgraded version po netong 3605. Hindi ko po ma calibrate ng tama. Hindi po kasi umaangat yung bar. I think yung barista brothers pang pressurized porta lang sya. Di sya ganun kapino na pwede sa non pressurized porta

I am using 3145, it says for double shots dapat 60ml ang espresso ko. I calibrated it, ang lumabas pressure 11, espresso 59.8ml, extraction time 36 secs, beans 15 grams. Ok lang ba ito?

Double shot po ay twice the amount of coffee beans extracted in one cup. Now its up to you na po kung anu yung ratio na gusto nyong gamitin.
