Thank you so much for your review! It really helped make me decide whether to get this 3605 or not. Very straightforward, honest and simple to understand review. Thank you thank you!!
Thank you for this review Ms. Riza ❤️❤️❤️ This is what I'm praying to have soon to start my small coffee shop 🙏🙏❤️❤️
me too. hows your coffee shop?
Super informative especially for newbies like me. You just earned a subscriber.
do you have any suggested tamper, bottomless portafilter and non-pressurized basket to use as replacement?
I was eyeing the Bambino plus, but there was a significant price increase here in the Philippines (from ~500 usd now to ~630 usd), while this Gemilai is ~100 USD
Very nice review ,thank you very much❤
You are welcome 😊 thank tou
For beginners, real espresso machines take a few trials to perfect your first decent espresso.
With this model it's so easy to prepare poor coffees and you will get discouraged and blame the CRM3605. You will probably experience lukewarm coffee, pressure gauge not moving, tasteless espresso, strong bitter espresso, poor frothy milk, no créma etc etc.
Two things that are very necessary are 1. A grinder that can make very fine espresso grounds
2. A metal tamper.
I'm still learning but after 2 days of trying, I made my first decent cup of espresso 🎉. This was after considering sending the Gemelai back twice upon seeing no movement of the pressure gauge.
Make sure your portafilter has enough well tamped down espresso-fine grounds and ensure the water is hot enough. If you do both of those you will normally have a nice espresso.
Hello, i stumbled upon your video because I'm planning to buy this machine, what auto grinder would you recommend to pair with this one? Thanks!
Love your video 😊😇
What's the cheapest Gemilai Espresso machine with a dual boiler?
goodpm. have u tried delonghi dedica. would that gemilai machine perform better?
but the thing is, is it a single wall basket? for that price I would think that is probably a pressurized basket, but if it's not I'll be very impressed.
Many thanks for the review, I'm new to the scene of home brewing but have been drinking coffee since 6 lol. Early this year I got interested brewing my own cup & thinking of getting a cheap espresso machine like the 3605 , bambino or the one from delonghi. Luckily, I guess, my factory room here in the middle Kingdom is small so I got myself those portable manual espresso "like" machines. I have one from 1zpresso Y3.3, staresso mini, barsetto tripresso & one from wacaco. Last week they had the 3605 on sale here but really couldn't find a space for it, now that I saw your review it makes me want to get it. It's really hard once to fall in the rabbit hole lol.
Hoping to see more review of espresso machines that are OK for home use & affordable price. More power po.
Hello. I’m a startup cafe owner. May I know what brand and model you would recommend if you say save up a little bit more for better business espresso machine. Thank you
Thank you.
You're welcome!
There is upgraded 3609, is it really better or not?
Hello 👋 I'm just waiting your own original special recipe coffee for me Darling 'til now 😉😘
Great review.. thanks it will be good for home use❤😊
Thanks but if you have a bit more in your budget, go for dual boiler machines...😉
@@rizasri What is your recommendation? Is it from Gemilai as well?
Great video 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎☕️
What is your grind size setting?
How do you get best shot, sorry didn't understand it
Hi Ms Chao, may i know the best latte using this machine is using 18g and brew espresso until 30ml or 36ml? And 180ml milk? Is it a good ratio? Need your help 🙏🏻
Honestly it's your choice how much espresso and milk you put
Also measure your espresso in grams, not ml. You need a scale to properly dial in your espresso
Hi! How many grams of coffee beans do you use for the 3rd attempt? Thank you 😊
You should use 18 to 19 grams, and make about 36 - 38 of yield in the brewing process.
That's what I use in my humble coffee shop.. ☺️❤️ Hiraya Coffee San Mateo Rizal
Ok lng po ba cya gamitin pang small coffee shop?
@@aldonnelrabor2854much better ung dual boiler pra kaya khit 100cups/day.. pag single boiler gmit mu tgal ng waiting time for pre-heating kaya konti lng ang capacity mu per day nun.
Is the machine working pa po ba today?
For the 3rd attempt was it a single shot or a double shot? What grind size (number) did you use?
It depends on the grinder you're currently using
all attempts were double shots
Hi chao!!!
Is 18g of coffee beans, 30ml of espresso pulled out in 25-30sec is equivalent to 2 shots???
Yes, correct
Hi thank you for the great review. What would you reccommend CRM3605 or CRM3005G
They are very similar so it really depends on your budget and requirements
@@rizasri lets say i can afford the more expensive option among the 2 and aim to serve 40-50 cups of coffee per day in my mobile coffee shop, what would be the more smarter option?
Thank youuu
@@siegfredianmagpilejr.6427 Go for dual boiler machine would be better choice
Здравствуйте, хорошая кофемашина или нет? У меня никогда не было кофе машины и я в них ничего не понимаю. В ней есть все функции для приготовления разного вида напитков? Стоит брать? Цена хорошая?
This is fine for home use but if you can afford a bit more go for the slightly more expensive one.
Hi. Is it normal to have the “dugdug” sound when the steam is on max?? My machine is making sounds
I have not experienced this. Probably better to have it checked.
The same with mine
How is your machine now?
@@michaelg5809 still the same. Still have dugdug sounds
This machine made from where ?
Can you reprogram the time it takes to pull the shot? Or is it fixed?
It's a fixed 25 seconds if you just dispense the hot water for the espresso. Pulling the actual shot depends on how well you put the coffee in the portafilter; too loose or use not enough grounds and the pull will be too long, too tight and using too much grounds will shorten the pull. That's why it's important to get a better tamper than what it came with.
Yes you can. Just hold the espresso shot button then watch the timer until the desired time you want. For example 30 seconds or more. Then when it hit the desired time, release the button and the next time you pull the espresso the machine will remember the time you've set.
Hello ms. Chao just wanna ask if we can pull 2 shots of espresso in this kind of machine ? Can u give us some tips.thnk u much🥰🥰🥰
Yes you can
Is 2 shots in this machine equivalent to
18g of beans ?
60ml espresso out ?
Pulled also in 25-30 seconds also????
Much appreciated🥰🥰🥰
格米莱3605,我也在用🎉
Can you review the grinder that you used?
ruclips.net/video/VFg8yT6-7kc/видео.html
Great sharing. The original basket is for 1 shot or 2 shot?
For 2 shots
Legit po ba kapag sa shopee or lazada umorder ng ganyan machine.. dito sa pilipinas.. may kasama pang plug adapter.. wow... Baka pag sa shopee wala mga ganyan kasama..
“Quite readable”, just what I’m looking for in a user manual!
I used that machine before.😊 it was good. Then I shifted to Oscar 2 Nouva Simonelli
Good job!
Why my pressures gauge malfunction?
It's almost certainly not malfunctioning, you Must grind much finer to get a higher pressure and tamp it down with a metal tamper
What grind size do you use? :)
Hello, espresso grind - fine grind
How to know if you already have a perfect shot of espresso?
First, you need to make sure to adjust your grind by using a espresso grinder. Second, make sure the extraction reaches the 9-bar pressure. Third, always use the volumetric mode ( 1 to 2 Scale) for a double shot espresso, and don't forget to extend your brew times into 50 seconds, but stop extracting your espresso when reaching 36 to 38 grams.
@@reyhanp.1339 but if it is on 9 bars how we should adjust it to 50 seconds?
Because even if the bar is 13-14 it comes out in max 35-40 secs
@@ropliow8744 Well, just play it by the scale, stop when it reaches 33 - 34 grams on scale.
Hi. Since the machine has only one button for a single shot, how can i nake a double shot espresso with this machine? Thank you.
@@gonewithme1231 It also has a standard double portafilter (18 grams). So, you just have to utilize that
The adaptor is NOT SAFE. The unit is not double insulated and hence the ground terminal is crucial. Yet, the adaptor is only 2-pin 😡
What is the grind size for arabica coffee?
Espresso grind. Fine
I just realized you're based in Thailand but you used A Filipino coffee bean. Are you Thai or are you kababayan?
For hot coffee its not that good...
How so?
