This series had so much drama, I honestly couldn’t sleep last night thinking about game 7. I’m more than happy my Dodgers pulled it off, but as a Dodger fan, I’ll have to give credit to some of the players in Milwaukee. Yelich and Knebel are the two I gotta tip my hat off to. I was really pullin for the Brewers underdog squad. Thought they had it too. Until this game was kinda all Dodgers. But what is most important to me is that the Red Sox dont win the world series. So if the best matchup is against LA with their pitching, defense, and hitting then lets go Dodgers. Maybe Machado will light up the monster a bunch of times while bellinger, pederson and muncy wrap a bunch around that pesky pole. And puig might have a hot series too since he finished the nlcs pretty fire. Justin Turner will get forgotten about and will make them all pay with some shots to deep left too. And hopefully kershaw, ryu, buehler and company have super strong outings with great bullpen successes from Jansen and Baez and the rest. But! It will not be easy. The Red Sox won 108 games because they dont go quietly ever. They have a tremendous offense, phenomenal pitching and bullpen, as well as superb defense and tons of clutch play to go with it all. Also a fairly deep bench, but from what I saw in the nlcs the Dodgers have a great bench too. Maybe even better depending on whos starting that day because their bench is full of guys who could easily start also. Lots of depth to work with.
Anyone notice the umpire was very fair and accurate with the strike zone in game 7? Several games had questionable strike zones. This umpire was perfect. I don't remember seeing a single pitch that I did not agree with.
@@deiradinn I have been advocating for the automated strike zone for a long time online, but Manfred is resisting change to keep umpires happy. It would help the game tremendously when we do not have to watch the umpires constantly change the outcome of events. Then we have to debate about it later to no degree.
ALCS Game 5 had some surprisingly solid strike calls, too. The zone matched the FOX Tracks pitching box to a T most of the night. I love a fair game from both sides, it feels more electric when the players have to win on merit.

This was such an odd feeling as a Dodgers fan - because I knew whoever won this was going to get slaughtered by the Red Sox in the World Series. A part of me just thought let the Brewers go and get slammed - at least it would spare us the back-to-back losses in the WS. An NL pennant is great but it just highlights this era's failure to win titles.
Ok, I really thought that Houston would win it all again. But for the sake of sports I was hoping that Boston and LA would end up in the series. No matter the outcome it will be epic, I mean you have two dynasties going at it, how could it get any better other than have your favorite team playing. I personally am a Cleveland Indians fan but oh well. I think Boston will be the victor although an upset will be nice. Man, Kershaw's strikeout pitches were downright nasty. Swings and misses, sure, but had they taken the pitch, it's still on the paint. That's just unfair.

THIS GAME was insane. The Brewers lost this game on minute 8:52 with Taylor's catch. The momentum did a complete 180 at that point. Incredible series.
