I love this video so much, and I always love your reactions. The song applause is about her literally her keep going because of the fans and their applause, it was during the born this way ball that she broke her hip and she tear her labral muscle ( it's the muscle that joins the head of the femur bone and the hip ) but she kept doing the shows anyway because she didn't want to disappoint the fans by cancelling the rest shows. A she didn't tell anyone about her pain, at first she didn't know what it was, and she kept doing the shows until she couldn't physically do them she endorse enormous amount of pain but nonetheless she kept going and the applause of the fans is what gave her the strength, that's why she lives for the applause, because in that time she literally did everything she did because the applause of the fans. Hence, the part of the video she is carrying on that giant leg, that used to be her burden like Jesus carried the cross, but then she get it over and can lift it because she healed, but if you pay attention in a part of the video you see her with the leg on the floor and people are dragging her, that's the media that drag her on that horrible time, printing things like "Lady Gaga is over " "lady gaga will never perform again" showing on her face what could probably be the true because she had surgery and didn't know if she will ever walk again. Then you have songs like do what you want with my body that are about the same thing "you print some shit that makes me want to scream" her body meaning the image people see of her or what people think or say about her, so say what you want about her she doesn't care anymore.
