@@wildandfreevictoria toured Ontario really stunning scenery. Got very wet at Niagara Falls walked the trails of Algonquin Park and chilled out by the lakes. Wild and Free. 😁
Thank you for sharing this awesome trip with us! Putting out new videos while #VanLife-ing it is very impressive! Once you're back to basecamp in the UK, I think it would be fun to see a video of your photo editing process. I have shot mostly JPEGs and am happy with them because the image is "done" and there's not much I can do to truly edit it... but... at the same time understand especially for outdoor photography you want the full flexibility of the RAW image. I just feel a little overwhelmed with so many RAW photos and different directions you can edit them, especially of just "day to day" life when the Provia film simulation does the job just fine! Would love to know your thoughts! Do you ever use your camera for daily snaps like taking pictures around the house or of friends and family, or do you specifically just use it for artistic expression?
Thank you very much for watching and your lovely comment! Yes I managed to do a bit of Youtubing whilst having a rest day (on rainy days!). It’s quite therapeutic 🙂 Well ask and you shall receive! I will be doing an editing tutorial soon. I don’t tend to do loads to my pictures as I take time in my setup to get the images that I like. Editing it just to add the cherry on the cake I guess. But it would be good to share what I do! I agree, I think the shooting simulations are good enough and if you set everything up right you shouldn’t need to over edit (or even edit). I think keeping it natural as possible is something very close to my heart and is important to me. I do take every day shots of my family, not so much around the house but I do take ‘lifestyle’ shots, I just don’t share them as they are personal 🙂
Looks like a much more fun time in "the land of the ice and snow". What kind of pasta did you get? Now I'm feeling hungry for pasta, but it's 4:30 AM here.
Iceland is definitely a place I would love to see. But first I will try Switzerland. Getting into gear, I just boughymy fuji h2s with sigma 16mm1.4 and 56mm1.4 WR. I can't decide on my next prime. It's a toss up between the 23mm1.4 wr and the 33mm. Which would you choose and what's your current vlogg setup?
Aw well, Switzerland will not disappoint, it is incredible! And i would love to know how you get on with the H2S as i’m looking at purchasing it myself. And in terms of lens set up, I am heavily biased here as I recently purchased the 23mm 1.4 (new model) and have not stopped using it since I purchased it. I just love it! The 33mm was too close to the focal length of the 56mm for me but the 23mm was perfect. My current vlogging set up is just on my Sony Z-v1 🙂

It was so much fun! I wish I could still be there :) haha I think it was some penne pasta or something! And it’s never too early for pasta! ☺️✌🏻
