Thank you very much for sharing this 🙂✌🏻 Also for my D Log settings which worked well too I used: Input Colour Space: DJI D- Gamut Input Gamma: ARIB STD-B67 HLG Then export is Rec. 709 and Gamma 2.4 This could be completely wrong but found it online and it worked well 🙂
Also I tried the HLG setting today and really liked it, it looks lovely! SO now is the decision which one to use, D Log or HLG! Thank you for the recommendation 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria Good morning. I'm glad that you liked my settings for HLG. May I make one further observation about the Gamma setting and whether you use Gamma 2.4 or 2.2 in your Colour Space Transform node? Yes I have the timeline and export settings to Gamma 2.4 and update the input and output all on a Colour Transform node. I am pretty happy with 2.4, I use it for all my vlogs and know it well. So that is just a preference which I will stick with as I like it. I am not just colour grading DJI footage but also my vlog Fujifilm footage. All of my vlogs so far have been 2.4 and I like the finish so I won’t be changing that soon. I appreciate you saying about Gamma 2.2 and explaining it, I will give it a try but I am happy with my current settings and working process that I do 🙂

Victoria I watch many videos on this drone, but you have really opened my eyes on the beauty that this can produce. You have a magnificent eye for natural beauty and form. Keep producing these awesome images. You inspire me!
Well, Victoria you have now officially entered the DJI rabbithole and you have certainly picked an excellent model to begin your journey. It's so nice to share the excitement with someone who had negative feelings about drones in general. Nice work for a beginner. ~The Smirking Guru (USA)
Well this is super lovely! Thank you ☺️ I think having the background in photography and videography has really helped so far and that I am loving it! There will be more on the way ☺️
to begin with victoria, you're an awesome photographer. a small piece of advice, seeing you taking off the drone from the forest ground I suggest you to buy & use landing pad, which would prevent dust going into prop motors.
I agree, it is pretty incredible what DJI have achieved - like I am flying a camera in the sky and controlling it from a remote control (mind blown) that is some great technology!
As always, brilliant footage, spectacular images, not to mention the landscapes and their colours... simply magnificent!! Keep going Victoria ;) Cheers from Portugal
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you very much! I think autumn is a perfect time of year to photograph, it is amazing. I will be going abroad soon and hopefully will be able to get some nice shots there 🙂
I'm so glad you dropped that boring land camera, and grabbed a most excellent flying camera. be careful, you will soon be addicted! Nice footage, love the colours. Just like my native Canada in the fall! You have a good grasp of cinematography, it won't be long until you're a pro. If I could offer some suggestions: Fly in open areas and once you take off, switch to Cine mode and practice flying squares in front of you, using the yaw functions to turn the corners. Don't use' return to home' unless you've lost site of the drone, try to always fly it back and land it manually. Master one function per outing, because the M4P is loaded with tech. You can go into Gain & Expo settings that will allow you to customize your stick movements, especially in Cine mode. Lots of drone gurus post their settings, just search on YT, and then set them how you like them. Happy flying!
I bought the same drone in September, just in time for the peak color in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (USA). Great little first drone. Like you, had great trepidation on my first flight, but loved it and can't wait to photograph and video all the changing seasons. Working on my coordination to smooth the movements, but really enjoying the new way of viewing and enjoying wild places. Love your channel and passion for what you do.
What a wonderful introduction to your first time experience. After being a long time photographer, I have just had my second flight on a Mini 3 Pro. I had (and procrastinated) using this drone for 1 1/2 years before giving it a serious try last week. Now, its time for me to learn more about editing footage. Your video has inspired me and I'm now hooked!
Good for you Victoria, the aerial boundaries are unlimited. I've been a pilot and photographer for 7 years and going from the Phantom 4 Pro to the Mini 4 Pro and it is the best drone for any level. It is the most exciting photography and video tool and when you gain confidence wait till you fly along rivers and waterfalls. Looking forward to your new drone adventures.
Fantastic footage! I love the “flying frog”! So playful. The colors were amazing. The point of view of the drone also allow you to use the landforms as graphic elements that really made the cinematography quite stunning! What a beautiful setting!
Thank you very much! Hehe yes it is a flying frog in my eyes 🐸🙂 It is a beautiful season for flying a drone as well. And you are so right, it all builds this beautiful scene. Thank you 🙂
Wow, that was amazing, really inspiring, and you even braved a hand launch 😅. I am also new to drones, learning with a very noisy DJI Neo at the moment, hope to progress to a Mini 4 Pro soon 👍🏼
Victoria, you inspired me to move forward and try photography with a drone. I was concerned because I was reluctant to bother others enjoying nature but you eased my fears! Thank you for the inspiration! I ordered my DJI mini 4 pro yesterday!
Awe this makes me so happy! Yes just go for it! I still go out somewhere quiet and do my flying thing, I have only bumped into a couple of people but most are very interested in a positive way - i always say hello and explain what I am doing as well and people don’t tend to mind. So yes go out and enjoy yourself. I will have some more vlogs on the way with drone stuff 🙂🙂
This has to be the most beautiful video taken from a drone that I have ever seen Victoria, in fact the best ever and you've only started using one for the first time, well done. Alfred Russell Wallace would be so proud that you named your drone after his frog, have great week ahead 👍
This is so lovely, thank you for your kind words. It takes a lot of time and heart to make my videos and it means a lot when someone appreciates them. And wow, what a super lovely compliment. Thank you 🙏🏻 I will keep practicing and hopefully capture some lovely moments. Hehe this made me smile about A.R Wallace, I hope it does make him proud! It’s the first thing I thought was, ooo it’s a flying frog! Thanks again and have a lovely week as well 🙂✨
It’s lovely watching your journey with the drone from the beginning. You captured some beautiful drone footage. Loved the softness and Color’s of the trees. I’m looking forward to seeing more. 👍
Just found your video and glad I’m not the only one a bit nervous taking it up in the air lol. I’ve got the mini 4 pro. Just had it up in the back garden and a quiet local park. I think I’ll change the controls too as it feels more natural the other way round. Looking forward to more videos with your drone. Very relaxing to watch. 😀
Hehe yes do not worry, I was very nervous! 😅 but seriously, it is really good and once you get out of that comfort zone it is so relaxing. I felt very relaxed in the end. Definitely adjust the controller - after I did that I felt a lot calmer and understood the flying more. The only thing that still confuses me is the way the gimbal tilts (this is the wrong way around for my head). But get out again and have fun, you’ve got this 🙂 and thank you, there will be more on the way! 🙂
Incredible pictures Victoria. The drone is going to put your photography on a different level. Ooopps pun not intended😂😂. Keep vlogging and being you. AW&F.
We are so pleased to find another first time user of the DJI Mini 4 Pro. My wife and I had our first flights last weekend with "Hopper" which is funny because we thought she looked like a frog as well. Our weather this weekend is a bit harsh but we are hoping tomorrow, Sunday, will be more favourable for second flights. We look forward to seeing more of your work it is beautiful. Thanks very much.
It is an amazing drone. I love it. You captured some beautiful imagery. The night mode is incredible, too. (Since the drone's fixed aperture is f/1.7, it will capture great night footage without the night-mode). Thank you for sharing. Subscribed.
Aww thank you! And glad you love the drone as well 🙂 Oooooo I didn’t realise night mode was so good, I will definitely have to try that one out next! Thanks for this! Thank you for watching and subscribing 🙂🙂
Congrats on your purchase. I agree with this video. There is a stigma with drones in part for user that choose to be not responsible, just like in other areas of life for example driving. Also just like the host, I love landscapes but when is view things like the birds, is a whole different story. I remember the first time I try flying over water, It was nerve wrecking, but you get the hang of it once you know what to avoid. Enjoy your journey!!!
Thank you! You are so right and what a great comparison to give with driving, that is very true. It is up to the individual to be sensible and make sensible calls on what they do. Yes you can’t beat a lovely birds eye view! Thank you very much 🙂🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria Looking forward to see the world of creativity that has opened up for you during the day, sunsets, nights sunrises over water etc.. Happy for you 👏.
How's the difference in quality? I'm new to drones and looking to buy my first. Does the Air shoot crisper? The M4P quality looks fine but the size is what is tempting me.
Thank you for this! And you are very right, it’s nice to have a change of perspective and equipment- it’s how we learn and grow. I’m sure there will be lots on the way 🙂🙂🫶🏻
Beautiful footage Victoria 👏, I watched the video 3 times already 😊 Also love the insightful way how you presented your first flight experience. I got my first drone (also a DJI mini 4 pro) probably around the same time as you and shared your concerns about drone flying. But if using it responsibly, it is a wonderful way to see the world from a new perspective. Hope to see more videos from you and little Wallace 🐸 Cheers from Germany
Great video really liked your sharing your story and feelings about drones, i also had a negative view on drones but im about to buy my first drone and love photography so cant wait to see life from a different angel
I also fly the mini 4 pro and landscapes. Welcome to the Dji Mini 4 Pro family 😊 people will be screaming at you, saying you should have got the dji Air 3s 😊
Aw great to hear it! and it has been fantastic so far! and they can scream all they want, for a mixture of reasons I am very happy with the Mini 4 and will stick with it 🙂🙂
great shots and video - just got mini 4 pro few days ago, an upgrade from the 2018 mavic pro that i bought used 18 months ago as my 1st drone and to be honest that one made its money back very quickly as I expect the mini 4 pro will, will be out this weekend to shoot with it..that weather dependent; )
Stunning footage Victoria , we will have to get you flying FPV next 😀. We have been ostracized as drone pilots for a long time because off all the negative publicity and silly pilots but great to hear your honest opinion now as a pilot. Keep practicing and happy flying
Thank you so much! And I don’t know, it looks pretty scary but maybe one day! Yes I feel like drone pilots have been and there is an unfair stigma, it has been so lovely flying and seeing the different perspective - and I am hoping this could be a nice movement in changing people’s perspective in general. Even when I have been out and about I have bumped into a couple of people and spoke to them about the drone/what I was doing and they were very happy to hear about it and see my photos. I think it helps just put people at ease. I definitely will keep practicing and happy flying for you too! 🙂
Amazing video and such beautiful scenery. I always love watching your content. It’s always so cinematic and inspiring and gives a real sense of intimacy ❤
Thank you so much! This is very lovely! Whatever the form of photography or videography, it is always something I do from the heart. So I appreciate your comment a lot 🙂
Been toying with the idea of buying a drone for a while, inspired by what you have achieved in such a short space of time, well done you. PS good to see Erik (The Great) again.
Aw thank you for this! I think the knowledge of photography and photography is definitely easily transferred between equipment, it’s just learning about the new gear itself which can be tricky - like flying etc. But once you have that you are good to go. Definitely give it a try, I am loving it so far 🙂🙂
Hi Victoria great video You look like a professional, as a beginner at flying, your knowledge on cameras helps you allot in capturing and videoing I can see this within the video, well done 👍
Hello and thank you so much for your kind words - that’s really lovely of you. I definitely think the knowledge of photography/videography has helped and transferred into using the mini 4 pro, I just need to learn the controls of the mini 4 pro more 🙂
Very much appreciate your video as I am also seriously considering purchasing a DJI Mini 4 pro and like you, I have never owned a drone in my life. I totally get how nervous it must be the very first time you let Wallace fly free! Have subscribed to your channel!
Absolutely loved the content, brilliant for a first time flier. I bought the same drone just last week and I’m excited and nervous at the same time about flying for the first time. I know my weakness will be editing, so I’m hoping that you might include some insight into how you edit your drone footage in some future videos
I had mini three Alfred....after Wainwright as it's maiden flight was on Orrest Head in Windermere , his first climb when he visited . Sadly he died clipping a branch above Aira Falls. Now got Alfred 2 and more apprehensive since that happened but getting some great shots especially with the circle and circle loop settings .
Tony, i loved your story about Alfred (loved that you named him as well) and I really felt your story (i will explain more at the end) but it sounds like Alfred had a beautiful death! But i’m sure it won’t happen again and do you have a DJI care plan? And, this leads me to the story of Wallace.. well I took Wallace on his first adventure to the Swiss and French Alps which was amazing and we were having a great time but unfortunately in France poor Wallace met his death as well as Alfred.. but Wallace was kidnapped by a golden eagle! It grabbed him and flew off with him, never to be seen again. So I will be getting a replacement soon which will be named Wallace II. Lets both fly in memory of our lost buddies! 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria no not the care plan. Only had.Alfred 1 , 2 months! I took Alfred 2 today on the shores of Derwent Water Keswick. The nearby mountains like Catbells,Causey Pike, were sprinkled with snow. Fabulous to fly him then . Few weeks back I flew him over Derwent towards the island there and prayed he didn't hit the water. Autumn was fabulous to see the tree colours from the air. Oh dear an eagle attack 😧. Birds are an issue . Seen a few videos on how to protect the drone from them but not100 percent fail safe . M y aim is to enjoy the drone and not dwell on the negatives . Best wishes with your new drone!
As a landscape photographer that shoots with a Fuji XH2 and a DJI Mini 4 Pro myself, I love your style. This video popped up on my feed and I’m glad it did. 👍and subbed!
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much! We have the same set up of gear which is great! Thank you for subbing and keep an eye out for my "full vlogs" as they will have my photography/videography with my Fuji gear mixed with the drone gear 🙂✌🏻
It’s fantastic! Fun fact, I have just come abroad now and I took it in my camera bag on a plane with no problems at all. Didn’t get stopped and it is all safe - hope that helps 🙂🙂
Great video, Victoria. It's nice to find someone who loves Aerial Photography and Photography. Practice, practice, you got this! If you ever come to San Francisco, you can come fly with me!
Thank you for this! And yes, I guess it’s just all forms of photography (I would love to do underwater as well) as there is some many beautiful realms to it. I will practice a lot and thank you for your encouragement! I will let you know if I am ever in San Francisco 🙂✌🏻☀️🏔️
Your footage is so cool and looks amazing. The slow footage over the trees and the colors is mind blowing. I've only been flying about a month and I want to fly all the time. Also it took me a while to want to hand launch and you did it right away. Very cool video.
Thank you very much! There is something about flying slowly over trees.. I dunno, I feel like a bird! It's great that after a month you still have the buzz to want to fly more - this is lovely to read! and yes I had no choice as the place I was taking off from was long grass and wonky ground, so that pushed me to do it by hand - it was a bit scary but the propeller blades are all up top so it was ok. and you do you, when you feel ready you can launch by hand, no point rushing anything. Just enjoy it and take things in your own time 🙂🌲☀️
I loved your video of your new drone and a very good choice for your first one. Welcome to the club. I did notice a couple of things that might be of interest to you going forward. Firstly it is recommended to remove the gimbal cover before powering up any drone and this is to prevent the gimbal getting stuck or damaged. The second thing is, you might want to consider a landing mat for some of the locations you are in. This will prevent debris from getting into the drone when landing and taking off. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! It is great so far and loving it! And yes, I have changed loooooads since this video a few weeks ago, so no worries, everything you have mentioned is do differently now 🙂✌🏻
You finally got a DJI Mini 4 Pro. You will love your new toy. What I've learned is that the D Log M colour profile is absolutely awful to colour grade and match with my other cameras. I have learned that using HLG is the best colour profile to use for grading with and it will match very well with your cameras. HLG is a true log colour profile, while D Log M is just a REC 709 colour profile. The next useable profile is the Natural profile. It is a Rec 709 profile but play's nicely with footage from other cameras. As for filters, the best one that I have and only ever use, at night, is the Freewell Snow Mist 1/4 filter. Its their brand name for a Pro Mist filter. I bought some DJI ND filters but only used them once for some late night slow shutter projects. As for getting the 180 degree shutter rule, its not that important because you'll be high up negating the need for motion blur at 25fps. You will love your drone, as its a superb photo camera as well.
I sure did and love it already! Thank you for all these tips, I will definitely try HLG profile instead of D-Log - I do have to say, I managed to figure out the Log in the end and colour grading wasn't too bad. But I will try HLG out as I might enjoy it more. Ahh that snow mist filter sounds amazing! this is what I was after! I definitely have a look online for it - thank you! I have some ND, UV and CPL but I always love a mist. Thank you again this is very helpful 🙂✌🏻
@ I’m glad you liked the tips. I was hoping that I did not sound like I was mansplaining. As for the D Log M profile, it’s not a log profile at all. It’s just a REC 709 colour space profile. The DJI Mini 3 has the correct D Log profile. DJI in their wisdom did not allow this log profile with the newer Mini 4 Pro. They wanted something simple for the average person to use with minimal editing/grading skills. HLG is a true log colour space and is really good in low light. I have some drone episodes, including firework displays, where I flew mine in low light for you to check out the image quality and noise in the shadows. I’m more than happy to point you to some very helpful RUclips tutorial channels, but sadly your RUclips filter will not allow this. Have fun with your drone. And as one last tip, the obstacle avoidance sensors do not work in low light. I learned the hard way.
Good to see you enjoying your new toy and experincing new stuff. You will love you drone. I my self have enjoy my mini 4 pro. Try experience the cool feature it has like hyperlapse. Looking forward for more of you drone experience. stay safe and fly safe.
Thanks for the video and the awesome footage with your dji mini 4 pro. I have the same drone but haven’t given it a name. I’m exploring the way point feature right now. Do take a look at that. Take care and safe flying.
@@wildandfreevictoria Looking forward to be seeing more from your filming, can see you have the "pro touch". Just going on pension myself now ,so will have more time to play around with the drone!
Thanks! I have a background of photography and videography for the last 5 years and started my RUclips channel 2.5 years ago (check out my other stuff) and I think having this background has really helped me a lot, it’s stuff you can transfer into other things. Well enjoy it and have fun! Thanks a lot! 🙂
Great work for anyone and certainly a early user. You will continue to get better with its use just like you did with handheld photography. What program do you use for post production? Beautifully shot.
Great video. I have just purchased the mini 4k that I intend to take around Europe in June. I need to practise a lot to hopefully be able to get some shots like you have captured in your video. Any tips would be great :)

Yes Wales is as Bonny as our Scotland! God bless. 😀
Aw thank you and yes lots on the way! I’m not too sure I will though, yes there are better cameras but I really like the portability of this one and the weight. You will see in my later vlogs (i am currently abroad at the minute with it) that I hike with my gear up mountains so for me weight is really important 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria totally understand. if you get a chance try the air3. best of both worlds however the slightly higher weight gain might be a problem however if you're flying higher up in the mountains(munros) the wind resistance is better. The tele lens is a beauty too.

Thank you, yes I think it’s good to have a change of style and perspective. Otherwise we can get a bit stuck. Thank you, not quite a master but i’ll keep practicing 🙂
Hello Victoria. Interested channel. Same here trying to learn how to make some videos on here lol….. But first gotta have the equipment lol…. Enjoying watching your channel. Keep up the good work and stay blessed. Aloha 🤙🏽
This will be me soon. Just bought a 'Mini 4 Pro' this weekend, after losing my previous drone earlier in the year. I'm on edge to take up another drone after that experience, but I have DJI Protection this time. I'm not loving the idea that this drone is 3 times the price of the one I lost!
I have 2 DJI Phantoms & bought them for much the same reason as you to add a different aspect to my Photography. Unfortunately I've not used them anywhere near as much as I'd have liked due to the negative reaction I got whilst out with them 🥺 probably due to the size mostly. I did do my CAA Drone Pilots course so was doing everything by the book but still got abuse when out from some people. Shame really but I'm now thinking I'll sell them & get something a little smaller that maybe people won't have as much of a problem with & a little easier to get out & fly. Glad to see how you got on with this one & that you've also changed the way you look at them 👍
Hi Victoria, If you'd like some 'real' stress, try flying over water! It's a pretty major event first-time! I love it now and am happiest while off-shore with my drones.
I’m a new drone flyer, bought a Neo as a test bed with a RC. You do talk to them a lot and they are so much fun, hoping to upgrade to a better drone as my skill levels increase. Ps. Great video and stunning scenery….new subscriber.
Many thanks! I think it helps that I have done videography and photography already which has helped, so it is a matter of learning the drone controls 🙂
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! I would love to see more videos. I just purchased one of these and haven't flown out yet. I also do photography as, as a hobby, and would love to see some of your work. Do you have a website I could go to? ~Steve (Virginia, U.S.)
I do actually, i forgot the area that I was flying in is notoriously bad for signal in general. I am thinking because it is in a valley with trees - double wammy of blocking the signal from the satellites. It’s the only thing I can think of 🙂
I think you mentioned that you edit with Davinci Resolve.
If you use HLG then the settings for Resolve are:
Input Colour Space Rec.2100
Input Gamma Rec.2100 HLG (Scene)

Also for my D Log settings which worked well too I used:
Input Colour Space: DJI D- Gamut
Input Gamma: ARIB STD-B67 HLG
Then export is Rec. 709 and Gamma 2.4
This could be completely wrong but found it online and it worked well 🙂
Also I tried the HLG setting today and really liked it, it looks lovely! SO now is the decision which one to use, D Log or HLG! Thank you for the recommendation 🙂

I just started flying my mini 4 pro this week, and I'm in love!
Glad you love it! I love mine to, it’s a great drone 🙂
Thank you 🙂
The footage you have captured has inspired me to get out there with my drone, for that I thank you. Keep up the great work.
Awesome! Thank you and I hope you get out and have fun!
Looked like you had a lot of fun with your new drone. You captured some beautiful footage!!
I did! and loving the new experience, thank you 🤩
This has to be the most beautiful video taken from a drone that I have ever seen Victoria, in fact the best ever and you've only started using one for the first time, well done.
You are doing awesome flying Mini4Pro first time! Stunning video! Thank you for sharing
Aw thank you very much! This is very kind and much appreciated 🙂✌🏻
It is an amazing drone. I love it. You captured some beautiful imagery.
The night mode is incredible, too. (Since the drone's fixed aperture is f/1.7, it will capture great night footage without the night-mode).
Thank you for sharing.
Subscribed.
Aww thank you! And glad you love the drone as well 🙂
Oooooo I didn’t realise night mode was so good, I will definitely have to try that one out next!
Hi,so glad you like your mini 4 pro,I’ve just upgraded to the air 3s,amazing bit of kit.keep the great stuff coming.
How's the difference in quality? I'm new to drones and looking to buy my first. Does the Air shoot crisper? The M4P quality looks fine but the size is what is tempting me.
Wonderful!!! Love exploring new ways of expanding my photography journey- how exciting for you, looking forward to seeing your drone footage
Thank you for this! And you are very right, it’s nice to have a change of perspective and equipment- it’s how we learn and grow. I’m sure there will be lots on the way 🙂🙂🫶🏻
What a nice person you are. Thoroughly enjoyed your video. I’ll be sure to watch the next one.
Aw this is so kind, thank you very much and more on the way! 🙂✌🏻
Wonderful piece of kit. Looking forward to seeing some lovely slow-mo drone shots in your future vids! 😀
So far it has been brilliant! Thank you and there will be more on the way ☺️☺️☀️
Love this great info I'm also a mini 4 pro learner look forward to loads more ❤ x
Thank you and glad you have the mini 4 too! Enjoy it! And I have more on the way 🙂
Beautiful footage Victoria 👏, I watched the video 3 times already 😊 Also love the insightful way how you presented your first flight experience.
Aw great to hear it! and it has been fantastic so far! and they can scream all they want, for a mixture of reasons I am very happy with the Mini 4 and will stick with it 🙂🙂
Same happened with me😂.
I sold my Air 3 to buy this one. The size and sub 250g make this the perfect choice for me.
great shots and video - just got mini 4 pro few days ago, an upgrade from the 2018 mavic pro that i bought used 18 months ago as my 1st drone and to be honest that one made its money back very quickly as I expect the mini 4 pro will, will be out this weekend to shoot with it..that weather dependent; )
Amazing Victoria well done fantastic pics and drone footage 👏
Thank you very much! I appreciate it a lot 🙂🙂
The. mini 4 pro I meant to add!
Looks like a good compact drone and easy to use . I wonder how that works with traveling. I never bought one yet. Great video footage on that thanks.
@@wildandfreevictoria Awesome, Victoria, I'll be looking forward to your drone journey.🙂 🙂👋👋🙏
Stunning.
Thank you ☺️
Your footage is so cool and looks amazing.
And yes, I have changed loooooads since this video a few weeks ago, so no worries, everything you have mentioned is do differently now 🙂✌🏻
It’s an amazing drone. You’ll love it
I do already! It is brilliant 🙂🙂
Love at first sight then , good stuff lol 👍⚡️🔥💥
The nature shots were absolutely stunning!
Thanks so much! ☺️✌🏻
Epic shots for your first time out, amazing. Did you use a neutral density filter also or just increase the shutter?
Thank you very much! I used a CPL filters and I do have UV and NDs but on this occasion I used a CPL and increased the shutter if needed 🙂
outstanding welcome to DJI drone family special the mini 4Pro thank you for sharing
Thank you very much and it is a great family!
Absolutely stunning
Aw thank you ☺️
Brilliant video to watch - great editing and sound - thank you :)
Thank you very much! 🙂✌🏻
Please show us more with your drone. This was great!
Thank you! and I am on it 🙂🙂
Good to see you enjoying your new toy and experincing new stuff. You will love you drone. I my self have enjoy my mini 4 pro. Try experience the cool feature it has like hyperlapse. Looking forward for more of you drone experience. stay safe and fly safe.
I loved this video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!
You certainly got some great shots on your first couple of flights, can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Thanks a ton! this is very kind! and hopefully more on the way 🙂
Thanks for the video and the awesome footage with your dji mini 4 pro. I have the same drone but haven’t given it a name. I’m exploring the way point feature right now. Do take a look at that. Take care and safe flying.
Looking good!! Just got one myself, some learning curve!
Thank you! and glad you have one too, it definitely is a big learning curve but in time it will be like riding a bike 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria Looking forward to be seeing more from your filming, can see you have the "pro touch". Just going on pension myself now ,so will have more time to play around with the drone!
Sehr schöne Aufnahmen. Gerne mehr davon.❤
Thank you and I will definitely do more 🙂🙂
You use pro and you are like a pro. You don't look like a beginner. I just bought a mini 4k and am waiting. Thanks for teaching me a lot.
Thanks! I have a background of photography and videography for the last 5 years and started my RUclips channel 2.5 years ago (check out my other stuff) and I think having this background has really helped me a lot, it’s stuff you can transfer into other things. Well enjoy it and have fun! Thanks a lot! 🙂
Great video! And you will enjoy your DJI MINI 4 PRO! Stay safe! Drone Pilot , USA
Thanks, will do! and you too! Hello to the USA!
Very well done! I love your first footage, wonderful colours!
Thank you very much! I appreciate it a lot 🙂🌲☀️
Great wee vlog victoria!
I am new to Drones and for your first flight you did brilliantly.
Anyway I am saving for a dji or potensic atom as I have a mid range drone.
Look forward to following you on your vlogs.
Subscribed!! Scotland UK (ps. Stunning footage)
Aw thank you! So lovely to see someone from Scotland commenting as that is my home ☺️ thank you for your kind words and the dji atom/potensic both sound great and I hope you enjoy either once you get it! And there shall be some more footage on the way as I go abroad soon 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria Hey can't wait to see more of your adventures with Wallace!
I believe there is some kind of dji insurance for £40 a year: so I have heard, and if you loose it they will replace it.
I will find out more ,and you may find it. or check out the web Victoria!
Yes Wales is as Bonny as our Scotland!
God bless. 😀
Aw thank you and yes lots on the way! I have insurance through FPV but also, I got the Mini 4 Pro as a package, so you got the DJI product care as well which I believe includes replacements if you lose it. Which is great! I also have my own insurance, so I am covered everywhere! Ah no, Wales is where my family lives, I’m just visiting. I live in Southern Scotland 🏴🙂✌🏻
@@wildandfreevictoria That's probably the insurance he was talking about!
And I am Glasgow originally now in Borders.

🐸WALLACE!!
Yes definitely have a look 🙂 and I might see you out and about with Wallace and your flying frog 🐸🙂🤘🏻
Too cool! Good luck!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful footage, Snowdonia?
Have fun figuring out all the magic of drone flight
It was West Wales, not too far from Snowdonia. A lovely place to be quiet and do a bit of filming. Thank you very much 🙂
I’m just curious here… your controller at the start had orange thumb knobs, then went to grey? Did you upgrade them? Great video, thank you 👍
Yes I pre-ordered some offline before I purchased the drone and they arrived when I was filming. So I swapped them over 🙂
awesome content! especially as you've just picked up the drone!
Aw thank you! I think doing photography and videography with a camera has definitely helped 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria you'll be trading the mini 4 for better drone camera in no time.
Hey I'm just starting my mini 4 pro journey aswell. Some great shots you got there.
Great video, which got you a new subscriber in me. Keep it up.
Hi There, may I ask what laptop do you use to edit the 4k video? I used to have a mac a few years ago but there was no 4k back then :)
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and I used DaVinci Resolve - it’s the full version as I have the licence. I do have to reduce the playback levels as my laptop doesn’t handle 4K the best but it makes do anyway 🙂
autumn colors r stunning
Thank you and the best time of year 🙂
beautiful as always
Thank you very much ☺️☀️
Beautiful flying. What software are you using for colour grading?
Thank you and I use Davinci Resolve 🙂
Really impressive shots, I love this drone
Thanks a lot! and it is great!
Little frog 😂 That was exactly my first expression when I saw that drone for the first time
I am glad someone else agrees! It defo does look like a frog 🐸
@@wildandfreevictoria Is it just us? 😄But at least we are right. I liked the aggressive look more on different models, but little frog is cute and I like it now a lot
great start ❤

Hi, i just got a DJI Neo and that really fun to get into drones but just found out before i saw your video that the DJI Mini 4 Pro can fly at night unlike most drones. It would be great to see you get some footage at night as well as day.
Something different to add to your photography. You seem to have mastered it. Enjoy your new toy.
Thank you, yes I think it’s good to have a change of style and perspective. Otherwise we can get a bit stuck. Thank you, not quite a master but i’ll keep practicing 🙂
You can change the Mode from 1 to 2 to change the joysticks functions.
Yup, that’s what I did in the video- except I did mode 3 ✌🏻
Hello Victoria. Interested channel. Same here trying to learn how to make some videos on here lol….. But first gotta have the equipment lol…. Enjoying watching your channel. Keep up the good work and stay blessed. Aloha 🤙🏽
Hello! well definitely go for it as you never know where it might lead you. I am sure you will do a fantastic job of it 🙂✌🏻
This will be me soon. Just bought a 'Mini 4 Pro' this weekend, after losing my previous drone earlier in the year. I'm on edge to take up another drone after that experience, but I have DJI Protection this time. I'm not loving the idea that this drone is 3 times the price of the one I lost!
Incredible film work 👏you’re a very talented photographer ❤
Thank you so much!! Glad to see you on here, it always makes me smile! thank you ☺️
Hey Vic, lovely video,
what do you use to edit your images and videos?
Thank you! And I use Adobe Lightroom for my images and Davinci Resolve for my videos 🙂🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria Thanks a million. Keep up the great content!
Glad to see how you got on with this one & that you've also changed the way you look at them 👍
Hi Victoria,
If you'd like some 'real' stress, try flying over water! It's a pretty major event first-time! I love it now and am happiest while off-shore with my drones.
Thanks, and I have already tried flying over water but it was ok. Maybe at see would be different but so far so good 🙂✌🏻
love my mini 4 pro and the shots in hawaii are great. love ur hair btw !
Thank you and that is very kind! ☺️
I’m a new drone flyer, bought a Neo as a test bed with a RC. You do talk to them a lot and they are so much fun, hoping to upgrade to a better drone as my skill levels increase.
Ps. Great video and stunning scenery….new subscriber.
You’ve taken to drone photography very quickly. Beautiful scenery.
Many thanks! I think it helps that I have done videography and photography already which has helped, so it is a matter of learning the drone controls 🙂
Another amaaaaazing video 😊❤

Thank you so much! Haha yeah it is a scary moment but it all worked out ok in the end! I hope it did for you as well? 🙂
Okay but how/where did you get the colored thumbsticks? They're sooooo cool
Hehhe thank you! It was one of the first things I did, because I couldn’t see the grey ones when I dropped them. I got the orange ones of Amazon 🙂🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria Ohhhhhh, thanksss!
Wonder why it lost connection? Very rare. Any ideas since? Thanks 🙏👍
I do actually, i forgot the area that I was flying in is notoriously bad for signal in general. I am thinking because it is in a valley with trees - double wammy of blocking the signal from the satellites. It’s the only thing I can think of 🙂
