Thank Mike, looks amazing in my msfs flightsim. 😊
You’re welcome 😀
Thanks for the tips! Looks way better in 8K! :)
First run of MSFS crashed, second startup worked fine. Nice tip. Thanks.
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. Happy flying George
Thanks a lot! Perfect shadow now.
We can set it for PC graphics. I didn't like the shadow there too.
You’re welcome. I have my PC graphics on low-end cuz I never use them and the sim doesn’t have to render it in the background.
Nice video Mike! Did you also try auto FPS? works realy fine for me in VR.
Yep Ard, and there is a new version out. Will review it later on the channel.
Looks really nice with crisp shadows! What airport is that?
It sure does! This is Trieben LOGI in Austria
Do you have an 8K VR headset? Just curious, as wouldn't the maximum resolution be limited by your headset or display resolution (e.g., 4K in most cases)? I applied the tweak to my settings, but set it at 4K due to my using a 4K OLED monitor. Haven't tried 8K though (I'm currently on the road away from my PC with MSFS).
8K is only the setting for the shadowmaps, it has nothing to do with display or headset resolution. The shadowmaps in the sim graphic settings can only be set to 2048, but in the config file you can overide it to higher settings.
How do you make your VR recording single (as opposed to double)? Thanks a lot.
I use a open xr mirror for that. See my video here: ruclips.net/video/207u7xU7OqA/видео.htmlsi=V2USENNrsWzzs6hX
Instead is there anything in GeForce experience that would resolve this minor issue?
No, this is a setting for the sim, not nvidia
This doesn't work for me. As soon as I restart the Sim, the settings are overwritten back to standard and a check of the config file confirms everything is back to what was in it before I edited and saved it.
Are you starting the sim with the new nvidia app?
The new beta one, yes.@@Virtusim
If you have your settings optimized in ther new nividia app (beta), it will use these settings and overwrite your usercng file. I have the sim pinned to my taskbar and start from there.
@@Virtusim Sorted. Thanks for the tip. Cheers.
