I wished he did my colour bond fence.We have gaps under the fence.In some places up to 2/3 inches.Asked him what he plans to do after the fence was up?Got told not his problem.

Can they be installed under existing fence without removing the fence maybe drill from the top?
Did you need to make the posts 2.7m instead of 2.4 or is 2.4m still good enough with the plinth? That'd only leave 400mm in the concrete? I have 150mm aluminum sleepers and am wondering if my 2.4 posts are still ok? I could cut 50mm out of the sleepers to wrap them around the footing but if 2.4 will do it, I'd like to use the whole 150mm.
If the plinth is 150mm hight, do we make hole for post only 650 mm??
Great video, I just got a quote to install conrete sleeper under my fence which is 15.4 metres and was quoted $2133 as they will have to dismantle the fence but the timber version was quoted $1300 is that a reasonable price ? thanks

That`s the best tutorial! Thank you!. Unfortunately we have just installed colourbond fence, but with a hadrwood plinth... Is there any method to replace them with concrete ones with no full fence disassembling, please? I think there is only a room to place it when no screen panels are installed... One more question is about how to cut these sleepers in case if the distance in between posts are different, or, in case of a sloppy fence, means, it goes not 90 degree down forming rhombus style frames. Thank you

Looks the goods. Timber plinths are very popular here in victoria. wonder cost wise how much difference there would be.
cammy470 timber plinths are usually cheaper, but only last for a few years. Concrete plinths last years and years
Treated pine plinths 50mm thick 2.4m long- $17 Bunnings: Concrete plinths $31 from Harold Gumtree Tullamarine . I just bought some.

My stingy neighbors got a new colorbond fence out in but didn't want to get the plinths put in when the fence was being built , now there is like a 3-5" gap under the fence , i bought some plinths to put under them but they cant slip down far enough because of the concrete for the posts , not sure what i can do about it
You might have to chip away at the concrete so the plinths can be lowered. You have to be careful not to crack the concrete down the footing. Best to dig out and come at the concrete horizontally. If that makes sense

How do you install a colorbond fence on existing concrete ground?
Mate, I would weld a 50x50mm and a base plate , then bolt into position, then screw the colourbond fence posts. The other option is to break the concrete. If bolting, your concrete has to have some depth.
Best to not bolt colourbond onto concrete, it’s never strong enough. Best to remove concrete and dig hole or at least core drill into concrete
