I’m just stunned that the voice that comes out of his mouth sounds like other people’s voice after it has been pumped through a preamp, an audio interface, and a high-end speaker system. so amazing
The fact that he was so gracious... and continued to say one liners for no extra money as though he was happy to just entertain... my heart! So glad he was given the opportunity to change his life.
I just met him at GreatClips in Lincoln Village on West Broad, today while I walked in to get a haircut. Really humble guy, great to talk to! Glad someone smiled down on him and he's doing better.
Mr. Doral Chenoweth III, as well as all of you from administrator crew, may God bless you, your family, and future descendants for what you did to Mr. Ted Williams. It's nothing short of noble act.
This guy is a true inspiration! The humanity, admitting he had drug and alcohol addictions. He literally went from rags to riches totally changed his life being given that one opportunity when this video went viral! Fair play to him!
I don't see any credit here being given to "ritchey," the original channel that brought the video to RUclips but also to the world in a matter of days. Ted Williams FTW!
It's not just the voice, but his whole charisma in his voice, his intellect/talent to formulate radio voice sentences. Different things have to fit together for this voice, the bassy voice alone cannot produce a radio voice. It's great that he was given a chance.
CONGRATULATIONS...This video has been a great initiative in favor of a "poor man" with a great talent...Thanks to you Williams hopefully will be able to overcome his problems with alcohol and drugs and become a useful human being.

This man has a very unusual voice! God gave him a awesome voice! Some one give this man a voice over job! Narrative. Cartoon voices. Whatever! If I had the funds to create my own show I would hire this guy !!!!
He is a father of nine children: seven girls and two boys. He left them for a life of drugs and alcohol. I do hope that he gets better, but that man needs never to head a family again. That kind of neglect is abuse.
I'm so happy for you. Wish everyone could have a second chance. Would be nice. Who knows how many people could help themselves if just a second chance could be given to them. ❤️
It's been alot of dislikes here due to reposting here taken from the user "ritchey" trying to steal the show. Too late columbus dispatch, you came last. P.S. "ritchey", thanks for broadcasting this wonderful video to help this man "Ted" out before the video got remove. Last time I've seen it. it has about 11 million views I think.:)
@kamkazekid The reason people aren't liking this is because of the fact that this isn't the original RUclips version of this story. The first person to post this video on youtube was another RUclips channel, but the video was removed due to copyright infringment, and I have a feeling the people disliking the video aren't actually disliking the video but the dispatch who removed the original viral video.
The reason this video is not being viewed is because it is being rated down to the gutter. 75% Dislikes? It will never show up in RUclips or Google search results! You should have had the "Common Sense" to ask your Reporters and Dispatch's Staff Teenage Kids what would happen before The Columbus Dispatch Acted. It's absolutely true that you owned the video. You had every right to order the Richey Video it taken down. Just pray to God that the Anonymous community doesn't here about this.
Hey TheColumbusDispatch, remember, greed never pays. You had it right the first time, and greed overtook pure down-to-earth commonsense and decency. You went right to your lawyers, and blew all the goodwill your paper did on this story. The sad thing is the original uploader of that video, ritchey, credited the Dispatch at the end of that clip. It's not like he completely cut off the Dispatch. He pointed viewers to the source of the video, the Dispatch. Thank God for other RUclipsrs.
Great VOICE and Great attitude respect for Ted Hey guys, I need some help here. I am Korean student learning english and I'm not sure if I'm hearing this part right 00:15. What I heard is " hey we're gonna make you work for your dollars ~" If I heard it correctly does it mean that the driver is asking a voice for exchange of money or the driver is going to get him a job?? and If I heard wrong what did he say?
Without Ritchy posting the video to youtube, the video would've never went viral and Ted Williams left homeless and never met his mother. Even though there were copyright violations, it's a disgusting act to let alone remove the video but also not credit Ritchy to skyrocket Ted Williams to fame. The whole part of the story was essential on that one video and removing it just erased the milestone of the outstanding views the video has received and erased the catalyst to this heartwarming story.
You must have a bunch of academics running your newspaper, and not a one of them would have the forethought to post anything on RUclips. Your reporter captured it, and RUclips not you promoted it. God bless Ted Williams I am glad the man has a second chance to make something of his life. This could have been a complete Cinderella story, and now you have millions of people disappointed in your handling of this story. I predict this will be remembered as one of the biggest newspaper gaffs.
I hope that you or RUclips recognize Mr. Chenoweth. Research how this medium works & use it. This is the future. Things happen for a reason. : )
I'm originally from Columbus and I think the Dispatch has spoiled the story by having the original upload removed. The one that got about 8 million hits. The one that made Ted Williams famous. Ritchey credited the Dispatch with that video. How many other Dispatch videos are floating around youtube or do you only pull ones that become viral? Congrats, Dispatch, everyone was cheering you now they despise you for your pettiness.
@DyGvids No, what I mean is that 'ritchey" went and took it from their website, posted it on his account, without any permission! It was removed for copyright claims by the Dispatch. this is the original, and "ritchey" illegally stole it from them.
Well, the story behind the original video posted on RUclips is that "ritchey" took the video from The Dispatch. Now, The Dispatch is playing catchup by posting this video in their newly created RUclips Channel. If only they had done this about 12 million hits ago.
