    Good stuff man... I was born in the '70s and I, don't believe I've ever seen space 1999...

    Good, thorough review of the accessories for the Eagle. These detail parts really add a lot of Fidelity of Detail to the kit.
    Thanks for sharing this with the community.

    Beautiful Eagles! Great job on those wonderful ships. Would love to have one of those kits to work on myself.

    The laser turret was first used in the season two episode 'The A-B Chrysalis'.

      Ahhhh...great info thanks. I'll have to check those episodes out again. It's been quite a while. I actually prefer 1 over 2 myself.

    I would really like to know where the steps fold away into during flight. Anderson was never too specific about the landing gear stowage on his vehicles.

      Yeah you definitely have to suspend reality when it comes to many a sci-fi vehicle lol.

    La verdad es el mejor modelo de diseño a seguir para los humanos como transporte de corto alcance para reabasteserse de la tierra o de marte etc operando desde nave nodriza o a muelle espacial congratulations !

      @@InterstellarModeler remarco esto ya que las aguilas presentan la idea de un mecanismo multiproposito de varias tareas esperemos que el Sr. Musk lo tome en cuenta en sus diseños de SPACEEX este modelo ya que hace años estuve estudiando el modelo aguila y analizando las situaciones de hacenso y desenso de la tierra al espacio y viceversa llegando a conclusion de acoples de pataformas en v para el acenso y protectoras para el desenso como asi el acople de alas de geometria variable sobre arriba del aguila con turbinas auxiliares lo cual una gran flota de estas armarian el 1 muelle espacial para el armado de la 1 nave nodriza para colonizar marte y luego mas como dije es nesesario salir de la tierra para buscar recursos naturales para nuestra subsistencia humana. Saludos y esperemos que asi sea.

    Great example of how aftermarket parts can give your model a custom look. Nice video. I now have an Eagle on my stash wish list. And its your fault...lol

    Those Project Enterprise Eagles look fantastic. Too bad they're ridiculously expensive. :(

    • @InterstellarModeler
      @InterstellarModeler  6 лет назад +1

      I actually bought them when they first came out but you're right, they're terribly expensive now.

      @lurkerrekrul 6 лет назад

      Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of them when they first came out. In fact there's a lot of stuff that I would have liked to have, but only learned about it after it had already sold out. :(

    Exellent presentation on the Space 1999 MPC eagle of Round2 I have the same kit I was wondering does anybody know of a company that makes accurate landing pad gear for this kit ? I built the same kit back in the late seventies an the company who recently released it never changed it wich when one builds it makes the eagle to low to the ground! the gear has to be hire I was thinking of cutting the landing legs an putting plastic Rod in thier place but would like to know if any company out thier makes higher landing legs that are better detailed for this kit to save me the time building them?

      +Peter Pimentel Thanks for watching. Not sure about the landing gear but someone does make a 1/72 scale landing pad. Check out monstersinmotion . com. It ain't cheap but it is available. Also Round 2 has now come out with an excelletn 1/48 scale and is very accurate. I will be building one soon. Here's the monsters link:

    Hi. Which scale are they? 1/48 or 1/72? Two of them have a correctly-detailed after-cockpit section.

    • @InterstellarModeler
      @InterstellarModeler  6 лет назад

      The Eagles featured here are both the MPC and the Product Enterprises Eagles which are supposed to be 1/72 but I was told this isn't quite accurate. I think they're closer to 1/87??? Thanks for watching

    And I would have replaced the rod in the laser with a section of hypodermic needle.

    The railings on the staircase are too high!!!!

    • @InterstellarModeler
      @InterstellarModeler  9 лет назад +1

      I'm not a complete expert on this subject but if you check out this link, there is a pic of one of the actual miniatures with the stairs and it looks correct to me. Follow the link, Scroll down to the 6th row, far right and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for watching. catacombs.space1999.net/main/cguide/umeaglescale.html

    Those handrails are much to high, and never heard about any headrails

      It’s just something he came up with.
      Would make sense to have hand rails i would think lol.
