      @@tejparker1 Got my board with the moss switches. They feel perfect. Enough resistance to feel that you're actively pushing buttons, but not tiring. I'm happy with the choice. Hope that helps.

    I have the exact same setup - Air75 v2 with Moss switches and it is a delight to type on. :)

    Great review and recommendation thanks! Loving my Nuphy 75v2 with the Moss switches. I moved a few keycaps around and reprogrammed with the via app - I put insert/delete above the backspace key, then the rightmost column I made it pgup/pgdown/home/end/prtscreen in that order to have easy access to the page keys by feel since I use them the most.

      Love your idea of moving the INS, DEL and re-aligning the other keys. I was having the issue of looking down each time to find the page up and down keys and your idea seems a great one to try out. I hate looking down. Even I have the Nuphy 75v2 with Moss switches and loving it so far. Do you mind sharing other ideas which you have tried on your Nuphy. Cheers!

    Did you add o-rings? I’ve read on the nuphy subreddit that Moss+O-rings bring the experience close to the Lofree Flow.

    I hope they aren't too heavy, everyone says that... I have Gateron Brown's 1.0 but I'm going for Moss when they are back in stock.

      I found the Lofree switches a little too heavy, but the Moss switches feel just right for me. YMMV.

    Very interesting, thank you. I was considering LoFree Flow with Phantom switches after all the feedback I've read and watched in the past week. There are two things I'm agonizing over now-Wisteria vs Moss and that NuPhy Air v2 is hard to open compared to the first version (there are plastic clips inside now). I really want to mod Air v2 if I get one (you can find modded videos where it sounds even better than LoFree). Have you tried to open it?

    • @PointlessVideos45
      @PointlessVideos45  Год назад +2

      I loved the LoFree flow’s sound and feel initially. But as I used it more, I realized those switches were a little too heavy and kind of fatiguing for my fingers. The moss switches gave me similar feel, just a tad bit lighter which seems perfect for me so far. I have not tried opening it so cannot comment on that. I am not 100% sure but the Moss switches might be compatible with the v1. If modding is your primary use case, perhaps you can try that route if in fact opening the v2 proves prohibitive?

    • @VladK-1
      @VladK-1 Год назад +1

      @@PointlessVideos45 thank you for the quick response! I'm surprised to hear that Moss switches feel a bit lighter than Phantom in LoFree Flow. I was expecting it to be vice versa (Phantom closer to Wisteria instead of Moss). I definitely want something that is not too fatiguing to type on.
      I've checked and can confirm that the Air v2 switches are compatible with Air v1. However, the reasons why I initially avoided v1 still remain-it lacks VIA support and its wireless connection is laggy. But yeah, opening v2 is much harder with some risk of damage. Although I will probably need to do it only once to add silicone dampener to the bottom of the case and lubricate the stabilizers so it will sound closer to LoFree Flow.
      Cheers!

    • @nissan_skyline

      Moss switches are tactile like blue switches but they're not clicky. They also require more force to press, so if you like a heavier switch or tend to press harder on the keys when you type, you might enjoy the Moss switches.

    • @MisterChibs

      Just an update. I ordered my Air 75 with Moss but also ordered an extra set of blue switches. Reason being that I typically like blues but they were out of stock in the pre build. I turned out to like moss better. A little lighter than blues but they just feel better to type on imo. More smooth and refined and not nearly as loud. 🍻

      @MisterChibs I had a similar experience. I have felt at home with brown switches all my life but I was pleasantly surprised by the Moss switches and been using them ever since I swapped out the browns with them. Enjoy!
