- This main-board & potentiometers modification adds rotating knobs to control both heat and airflow which is much easier than trying to change these parameters with push buttons.
RandomHacks on Tindie. Approximately $83.90 USD.
(includes shipping.)
Two options:

I bought the kit and installed it a few years ago but didnt used it often last time i want to use it the device become broken and dosent heat anymore next hotair station will be the original quick one at work i use it over 5years now and never had problems with the quick
Are you saying you bought the RandomHacks kit and installed it but then later it failed?🤔
Yes the QUICK 861 is very popular and I thought about buying it myself but then I bought the BST because it was cheaper and I preferred the design over the QUICK.
@@decem_unosquattro9538 yes the last time i turned it on it was set to around 300 and as i worked with it the heating element was glowing af so i turned it of but next time i turned it on the heater was gone... now i dont know if it was a bad heater or the board has a problem i tried to ask randomhacks i hope he is replaies soon :/ i dont wanna buy a new heater for 60 bucks and blow it again XD
the rotary knobs are not installed correctly. The white stripe does not provide any orientation here.
What do you mean? 🤔
@@decem_unosquattro9538 The white stripe on the knop from the potentiometer has the wrong position. For me, bottom left would be low and right bottom would be high. on your device, the end point is in the middle of the scale. I find that irritating. Excuse my bad English. my German would be better. 😉
Yes you are probably right. I wasn't sure how this should be positioned and I just put it in the middle. Sorry if I bum steered you. 😆😄
110v ou 220v?
220V here in Australia. 🤔
I assume there are different versions of the BEST H/A workstation. The American version 110V 60 Hertz with an American plug.
