    I'm seriously tempted by this.
    I have a 2021 rim brake Canyon Ultimate, like yourself, and was set on upgrading my groupset from 105 to Ultegra due to wear and tear - now this comes along.
    So although it seems to be pretty much neutral weight wise, getting an extra gear would help an awful lot of the climbs.. going from 11-30 11 speed to 11-34 12 speed with a more even gear spread. Very tempting indeed.
    The only downside is the aesthetics - that front derailleur looks pretty bulky and ugly.
    Thanks for the review! That bike looks beautiful - I love the fact it has a plain, stealthy look with no branding or stickers everywhere. Very neat indeed 👌

    I’ve got one on my bike. Slight niggle though is that I adjust the screw when I’m in The lowest gear (36/30) so the front derailleur doesn’t rub, but when I’m shifting in the big ring it doesn’t trim in the middle gears enough, so get rubbing on the front mech. If I shift down to 9-10-11 trims. A bit annoying and not been able to solve it.

    • @fede1275
      @fede1275  Месяц назад

      I am not sure how to fix this, luckily I have a very minor front DR rubbing when I cross chain when in the big ring, I then move to the small front ring and it is all okay. I did not touch the screws, only adjusted the rear indexing with the app.

    Just curious about the integration of the group with your bike computer. I use a Garmin 840 and my group is the Dura-Ace Di2 11 speed. What I really like is the computer display shows the gears so I don't have to look down at the drivetrain anymore, and the computer also shows me the battery statis so I know when I need to charge the battery. Your group uses two batteries in the derailleurs and coin cells in the levers, I don't know how that would work. That might be a bit of information you could highlight because some people might be interested. Garmin has done some wonderful things IMO, they now have a screen that controls my Spotify music app using the touchscreen. Yes, I really feel high tech on the bike with so much integration and information all coming together.

    It's a great groupset, my experience is exactly like yours with the front derailleur, its almost impossible to stop the tiny bit of noise if in big-big gear combination but I guess we shouldn't be cross chaining. Wheltop say they optimized the groupset for 12 speed, maybe the slightly narrower 12 speed chain would cure this?
    I've bought a 12 speed chain and cassette to upgrade but haven't fit them yet.

    Hi, I bought the groupset EDS-TX and installed it on my racing bike (LOOK Optimum 765+). During the initial calibration I made the mistake of not reading the instructions first. I started the initial calibration when the front derailleur was on the small sprocket (and not on the large sprocket as in the description) and at the rear on the largest sprocket (and not on the smallest as in the description). Now nothing moves like that anymore correct! Is it possible to somehow reset the switching group to factory settings or something similar? I would be happy about any tip.
    Many thanks, Frank

    • @fede1275
      @fede1275  18 дней назад

      @@frankhauer1436 hi, I believe you would need to do the set up again, moving the front derailleur to the big ring and move the rear derailleur to the small cog that they call 1st gear. I would also remove the chain and reinstall when the rear derailleur jockey wheel is under the smallest cassette cog. From there you would do the indexing again moving towards the larger cogs.
