    I made these last night - so good!!! Next time I will adjust the cook time under pressure according to the thickness of the chops. Ours were 1.5" and 7 minutes would probably have been enough if I had allowed the pressure to release itself. Still, they were extremely tasty, and my husband heartily approved of the meal. I did make some ingredient tweaks to make the recipe Keto-friendly, and I served the chops and gravy with a side of broccoli salad.

      Here we go. The cucumber salad recipe my wife used.
      3 - 4 Large cucumbers thin sliced.
      1/2 red onion or sweet onion sliced from side to side (julienned) or chopped.
      1/2 red or orange bell pepper (use a jalapeño with the seeds in if you like it HOT)
      1/4 cup rice wine vinegar. It’s pretty mellow so white wine vinegar will work great here too.
      1 tsp honey.
      1 tsp sesame oil. You can add up to 1 Tbsp if you love sesame oil.
      1 tsp sesame seeds
      1/2 tsp crushed red peppers
      1/4 tsp Salt
      1/8 tsp black pepper (fresh ground highly preferred)

      @thewildwaynes5220  2 года назад +1

      Hi Anna! Thank you for the comment. I’m happy the recipe video helped. Personally, I have never used frozen pork chops but I’ve heard you set the time the same but the time it takes to get to pressure will take longer. Like throwing ice in a pot of water to boil. The ice has to melt (thaw) before the water will boil. So I’m pretty sure it’s the same time. If the pork chops aren’t done, you could put the lid back on and set the pressure cook time to one minute and see if they’re done. Thank you again Anna!! 👋🏼😁

      This is the wife! Lol.
      4 cups of thin sliced cucumbers
      1/4 cup of finely sliced red onion
      1/4 cup of fined diced red pepper
      1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar
      1 teaspoon of honey
      1 teaspoon of sesame seeds (optional IMO)
      1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
      1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
      1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
      Mix the cucumber, onion, pepper, and sesame seeds together.
      Mix everything else together.
      Normallllly, I let it sit in the fridge. However it’s yummy. So sometimes I just dig in!

    What temp did he put the pork chops on

    • @thewildwaynes5220
      @thewildwaynes5220  3 года назад

      We sautéed or browned each side for about 2-3 minutes per side on “sauté more” setting and used the high pressure setting to pressure cook the pork chops for 5 minutes. We do not have a temperature setting on our pressure cooker. I hope that helps.

    works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again.This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.

    Tried these tonight..flavor was good,but 7 minutes under pressure made them very dry and tough.

      Oh no I’m sorry to hear that. What type of chops did you use? I use Pork sirloin chops and they turn out juicy and tender. I’ve used pork loin chops and they turn out a little tough. I save those for the grill. Seven minutes with zero minutes natural pressure release I’ve learned does well. If they’re fairly thin sirloin chops you could get away with five or six minutes of pressure cooking. I hope you don’t give up on the recipe. Thank you for commenting Herbert.
